    We have often been in the position that teams around us drop points and we play after them. Usually it ends up with us trying to hard, not scoring despite loads of chances, and letting daft goals in. Hopefully not tonight though as I have some mates who support Stoke so would never hear the end of it. Especially after I bought them a box of After Eight mints following us thrashing them a few years ago.

    Allardyce to Everton will be confirmed soon then. A short term fix but long term will set Everton back years.

    If they just stay up and then replace him in the Summer then I don't think it's an issue but if he's there going into the next season then yes it will be an issue.

    just a quick note.

    half.way into top 6 min league now

    lfc results

    arsenal win
    utd draw
    city loss
    Spurs lose
    Chelsea draw.

    That's 1-2-2 record or 5 points out of 15.

    last year we took 20 points with record of 5-5-0

    so right now if we get 10-2 points we will have done well so that's-8 from last year.

    we simply must make this up v lower half now. target is Chelsea, spurs, arsenal and beat out 2 of of them

    stoke Brighton and the like are really where it will be at imo
