The good thing is our form can’t get much worse and we have the players to respond. But we’ve gotta stop shooting ourselves in the foot with this lengthy Sissoko “experiment”. He’s just not good enough, never will be, and there’s youngsters that deserve a chance over him now. Utter ****e.

It seems we have got our old Tottenham back, poor defensively and tactically and tippy tappy football.

What is wrong with them? I'm getting the same vibe as I got once we had mathematically lost the title to Lesta a few seasons back.

Lost the fight....no menace in them and it's no coincidence that we are a different team in the CL.

Why do teams always raise their game against us?
Why do teams always score from their only chances against us?
Why do defenders not make mistakes against us like they do for other teams?
Why do we always buy dud strikers?
Why can't we put the ball in the back of the net when we dominate?
    Why do refs hate us?
Feel free to add to the list . I know there are hundreds more.....

We're missing Wanyama and Alderweireld and a lot of our players are either not fully fit, massively out of form or knackered.
Some are playing too many games, while others haven't played nearly enough for ages and it shows.
Rose, Aurier and Llorente all lack sharpness and confidence, while Dier and Vertonghen look a bit jaded.
Alli and Eriksen look like they're distracted and I'm sure that the constant speculation's not helping.

That is a hard one to take. We were awful and the hustle of the last 15 minutes cannot distract from that. Lamela, playing for the first time after bring out injured for over 400 days, did more in 15 minutes than our other AMs combined for 75. Eriksen should have had at least one and Alli's decision making and touch was poor and his head just doesn't seem to be in the game. I hope I never see Sissoko wear a Spurs shirt again. I'm not sure about the pen tbh, wouldn't need to see it again.

With the midfield and defence, we looked better with Dier moving in to midfield and going to 4 at the back, but Dembele and his positioning was well off, Dier was consistently further forwards and then we wonder why we can't make a yard of space round the box.

Rose was so-so, poor decisions going forward but at least he tried to make something happen (*cough* Sissoko *cough*) and Aurier was IMO very, very poor. I have never seen him play well for us and have never heard it of him either, on here or on any match report. I'd like to see more from KWP in his place please.

Llorente looks shocking. The least effective target man I have seen for ages. Man up front in my 7 a side team does a better job of making the ball stick. And where did his 15 goals from last season go on that showing?

I thought Verts was good. Unfortunate with the Mahrez goal as he's been carded so couldn't get tight and risk the foul. And made some great interventions in the second half to keep the score in sight. Sanchez got caught for Vardy's goal but to be fair, it was also a quality strike. And they created little apart from that.

At least we have Lamela back. We are crying out for urgency, intensity and a bit of quality and desire on the ball and he beings those in spades. I would like to see more Lamela and KWP and less Sissoko and Aurier please Poch. And I hope he is tearing strips off the players for the rest of the week so we see a reaction to that half-arsed, tepid performance next time out.

Lamela's return now means we shouldn't be seeing much more of Sissoko.

Lamela's return now means that Alli and Eriksen can't keep playing ****.

Lamela's return now means Kane has someone who'll release a through ball quickly.

    Thank **** for Erik Lamela.

It's more to do with the fact that we had it in us to find a way back...we have that hunger in the CL.

Schalke found a way back from 4-0 down. A good team in whatever comp doesn't lose a four goal lead.

Coco to start the next match in place of Dele. Perhaps he will up his game if he gets dropped

I'd say Eriksen has actually been worse in the past few games. Alli started the game quite brightly but then went into petulant brat mode later on, Eriksen was just **** all game until he was taken off, he was also **** against WBA, Utd and Arsenal, too.

I'm always very very wary when a player misses a sitter and it won't surprise me to see him not return to form. BUT the team will turn this around.
