Eighth placed Peterborough travel to a packed out Valley tonight, with Charlton looking to cement their position in the Play Offs.

In a week when we have seen other scarcely believable news - like Ackers finally proving his Royal ancestry - could this finally be the night when Joe Dodoo announces himself as something other than a panic loan day signing wages thief?

Charlton fans are asked to arrive early at the Valley tonight, as their bums on seats will deter pigeons from defecating on them. At least 5,000 are expected to heed the call, although Olly Groome will double that.

    Anyone going?

No. The Orpington Liberal Club Open-mike takes priority.

I’m at a funeral in Orpington this afternoon so think I’ll travel to the Valley after. Maybe not the wisest of decisions, but I’ll post up reaction after the game.

Is it because 'The Orpington Liberal Club Open-mike Evening' is the alternative? <whistle>

    I'll be there.

In the league, Peterborough have not won away from home since August. Their last 6 away games have yielded 4 points from draws, so it could be honours even tonight. We are unbeaten in our last 5 home games, three of those being wins. However we have not scored more than 2 in a home league game since 19th August (8 home games ago).

I have a feeling we will beat Peterborough tonight, but it may be another ground out result rather than an impressive display. 2-1 perhaps.

To say we are down to the bare bones of a squad tonight is an understatement .... 5'3" is out injured now!

What’s the new rules for buying tickets on the day - is it just added cost?

Prediction - I have a horrible feeling we’re going to lose. Peterborough are a team who always look to attack, and with our impotence in attack I’m dubious as to if we have two goals in us.

1-2. Hope it’s the over way round.

    I’ll pass then :)

But seriously, just heading in to Charlton now, is it just a price increase on the door?

He's a better option on the bench than DoDo or KAG <ok>

I’ve seen a few photos from inside the ground - would be surprised if there was 6,000 in.
