Not sure what "context" has to do with anything about the bet I proposed to you Quentin?... You made a claim (several times), I challenged you to back your 'prediction' of our catastrophic demise and certain relegation... you don't want to do it because the prospect of the loss of control over your avatar for one month (yes one month ffs ) for each season in 4 that your prediction fails to come true has completely unmanned you ... Happy to leave it there, Quents ... a valuable lesson for you my friend ... if you don't have the stones to back the blah on this forum, you end up being the likely winner of any Cnut Poll that is put up ... you live and learn, Quents ... you live and learn
4 in total. He had one with me, one with Archers, one with Fosse and one with G4E. He then had a little hissy fit and cancelled all of them. Now he’s trying to pick and choose which ones he reinstates and ditch the ones he now regrets agreeing to.
It's as I have set out above mate ... he did initially accept the bet but then quickly reneged ... bleating that he hadn't read it properly ... in reality the thought of losing his avatar for a month (each season of the bet) was too much for his fragile ego and has positively unmanned him to the point of panic and deflection around "context" ... an avatar on a footie forum ffs He now bleats that he can't understand posts which, given that he is by far the most tedious and verbose poster on the forum (exacerbated by a frequent excess of commas) ... is brilliantly ironic .... but he doesn't really do irony ... Quentin is far more comfortable with a "to me - to you" level of humour
Stop being such a welch. You agreed to all of four of those bets. Claiming you are too stupid to understand what you were getting yourself into doesn’t get you off the hook mate.
I’ve quoted HIAG accepting all of those bets and also given links to those comments after he demanded that I posted them, hoping he use the excuse of ‘context’ to claim he never accepted The only context here is that HIAG is once again welching on his bets.
Look closely, and you will see that the only one crying is Pixie, because I won’t let him wheedle out of his bet with me.
Quentin's blubbing ... but has (at least in his own mind) put up a pre-emptive defence against being ribbed should Spurs not win by claiming he is not expecting Spurs to win ... no doubt he will therefore maintain a level of magnanimity if Spurs do go and win ... which we all know is about as likely as him ever acting like a man when it comes to a fun bet on a footie forum "They may take away our lives, but they'll never take our avatars!"
Depends on how Jaws plays. If he's up for it (and he usually is against us, the ****) then we'll lose. He's scored 10 in 9 games but within that he's scored 4 in one game and a separate hat trick. Probably a decent time to play Spurs though. We'll see.
