Afternoon all, Now then a poster on here seems to be raising temperatures and polarising opinions, so let me clarify things as far as I am able. Yes, Jon joined us with some previous however, I have always said that people should be judged on what they post here rather than by reputations from other forums. Granted, his start on here has not been glorious but I can guarantee you all that he is trying hard to become a valued poster but it is taking him a little more time than most to acclimatise. A very high percentage of my 'inbox' is taken up with messages about Jon, some for him and some against but by far the largest are from Jon himself pleading his case and explaining that he is trying hard to fit in. The easiest path for me would be to ban him but would this be fair? I believe it would not as this is a Charlton Forum open to all Charlton fans and (in my opinion) it is for the rest of us to show some tolerance (a trait common to most Addicks) and wait for Jon to adjust. I do PM Jon regularly, sometimes brotherly, sometimes fatherly but mostly headmasterly and I believe he is very gradually understanding the limits the rest of us find acceptable. Why am I spending so much time and effort on Jon I hear you ask, well I can not go into any detail on here but believe me I have my reasons and I believe that if other posters were in possession of the full facts then they would undoubtedly do the same. So, please give Jon some more time, it may take weeks, it may take months but over time things will improve and as a group we will feel proud that we stood by a fellow Charlton supporter when there was a far easier paths to take. I fully understand if people want to put Jon on your ignore list but if you could keep this under review âThe path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.â Jules from Pulp Fiction AllHell

This cannot be from a Charlton supporter Impressive nonetheless Allhell

Jon what is your problem? Are you a wum, mad or have serious issues? I have been the biggest defender of your right to post here but even i am starting to question your motives!
Stu, this bloke even types like Jon used to write when he wrote letters into voice of the valley! I never worked a2c out, was he real, a wum or a joke?
There is no actual reason why JA cannot be A2C and many reasons why they can be the same person. Granted, some of you actually know JA, but there is no reason why he could not have created an alter-ego. A quick study of the language and it is easy to see that the punctuation and grammar are very similar. Chuck in a few mockney-isms and you have the A2C style.
im one only jonathan acworth their is only one of me and thank **** for that!cant have competition now can i?
JA has been around for years- he is not A2C. Crazy, yes. I'm all for you sticking around JA- just no more abusive tweets to our players . And where is the book, can I get a signed copy?
