Give him a break and he'll surprise you. He deserves it. He'll be brimming with confidence and he's had a great pre-season with Southampton. There must be an attacking player who can make way.

We could have sold him at a profit when he was in a good spell - bit late now.

The amount of injuries we get it wouldnt suprise me if oxocube gets his chance to play soon.

Personally i'm more excited about the prospect of Miyaichi though.

Don't think Walcott is as bad as you make out - he puts in alot of effort defensively and his pace changes the dynamic of the game. Also his diagonal runs which you picked up on often lead to goals or assists, or atleast a setup for someone else. He should try and go down the line a little more often - i.e. take on his man - but other than that i'm happy we have him in the squad.

Last season most considered Walcott part of our best 11.

Yep, I like Theo and a tiring defence hate playing against someone as quick as him. If we can get his confidence up he can be a really useful member of the squad. Like some have mentioned I think he'd work out better as a striker but either way I really rate him. Now if he can just stay healthy...

Yeah it would be nice if Theo could do a whole season without injuries now! Think then we would really see the best of him.

With Gervinho, Miyaichi, Oxocube and Walcott who all have alot of pace, it will be interesting to see how defences deal with the speed comming at them. It will no longer be a case of watch Walcott but rather watch the team. And on top of that it means when Walcott is taken off he can be replaced by someone with similar pace, so we don't lose that advantage when theo in't available.

I'm very happy with our pacey wingers.
