Problem is I tried that with self control years ago and was never able to turn it back on again !

 

We seem to be in a battle for the moral high ground. We have to be dogged and almost squeaky clean. Allams seem to be able to do exactly what they want and people (possibly the majority?) seem to forgive.
Bizarre that it's not the huge organisation that are worried about negative publicity.
While we are (probably) in the minority I don't think HCST have a choice.

I was told today that the Action For Change lot are planning a shoe throwing protest, an Ehab is shagging Elmo banner and a big protest for the Villa game / return of The Bruce.

Not a source of any kind, just someone who knows someone in Action for Change.

Hopefully bollocks. This’s would lose them support, credibility & the moral high ground in one single action.

Media, supporters, locals, the wider football community, the wider sporting community, me & most of everyone else would not only distance themselves from their quest but also condemn it.

It's highly unlikely that they are planning on using banners that can be deemed as homophobic.

We were two up and pretty much coasting. There was no protest. The match was not stopped by off the field incidents yet we still gave 3 goals away.

Did the players stop playing?

Did Bristol up their game?

And now the big question....

Will the Allams and the individual at the meeting who was appalled at the protest mid match v Forest now realise that protests, chants, stress balls thrown on the pitch, don't make a blind bit of difference to the teams performance?

Truth is the team/squad aren't good enough. No matter how much you 'support' they'll still be crap.
