Henderson once again got on my nerves in this game. I'm sure he's scared of getting hurt he doesn't want to put his foot in.
No. I think he took up a decent position in anticipation for the intended cross. Can't really blame the team for a freak goal like that. Only thing you can say is we were too deep to start with.
I think Chelsea noticed some weaknesses in the right, it must be addressed. They preferred playing through the right. I don't know??
Willian is on the left, from Migs point of view, so he has to cover his near post. If the cross was accurate he'd have a second to adjust his position to get over to maybe get in a block. However (said this yesterday), if the cross had gone in to the far post then there were two Chelsea players waiting for it because our defenders had stopped.
Had it been crossed as intended, Migs would have caught it as he wouldn't have been back peddling. I believe he was anticipating the cross with an eye on his near post too.
LFC Stats @LFCData Jordan Henderson was dribbled past 5 times last night, more than anyone on the pitch. He also failed to win a single tackle or aerial duel, or make an interception. It was the almost exact same story against Sevilla midweek. Not so captain fantastic...
Don't need stats to know he's playing ****... No tackles in two high profile games is a shocker though
He's done...we will suffer him for a season and then if he can't be sold capital one cup or whatever it's called now. If he's pride of place next year he better be the Gerrard 2nd coming he thinks he is or I'll actually go anti Klopp
