I’ve only ever asked you once, in this thread, when you said you sat in the Itchen stand.

JWP played really well this afternoon and was unfortunate insofar that everyone else had a good game too. I would imagine that Redmond will struggle to get back in the first eleven if everyone puts in a shift like today. Davis was also superb, in my opinion - notwithstanding the excellent goal.

Doesn't a good win make you all warm and cosy inside. If we'd lost it would be.....well like being an Everton fan.<laugh>

Well, it's up to you if you want to believe me or not as to whether I have a season ticket. I don't particularly care what you think, to be honest . It is of no consequence to me. You have clearly made up your mind that I don't actually go to the matches given the number of times you question me after every home game either about whether I sit in Itchen or Chapel or what commentary I am listening to. It is up to you to believe what you want and that is entirely your prerogative irrespective of the fact that it is quite tedious being continually questioned. You have as much idea as whether or not I am a regular as I am about yourself.

Of course, you have never made a mistake in identifying a player, especially someone who is at the other end of the pitch ?

    What are you on about?

I asked a simple question as to where you sit, for the first time ever today, which I only repeated as you didn’t answer it earlier on. There was no malice there, I was just interested. Please, I’d be delighted for you to show me where I’ve done the same after “every home game”, because I haven’t.

I thought you sat in the Chapel, which is why I asked earlier re the Itchen comment. You could very easily just say “no, I sit in the Chapel stand”, but you seem to think it’s something to do with misidentifying a player? Nothing to do with it.

    Very odd.

The only thing that is odd is you insisting on knowing where I sit.

The next thing will be having you outside my house licking my window panes. <laugh>

Commentators on my coverage made the observation that every time Boufal tried a little backheel or flick, Pellegrino was up out of his seat. I really hope that wasnt true, Boufal will cost you posession, he will even cost you a goal every once in a while but he damn well gets you up off your seat and puts a smile on your face. Let him play his football. Dont try to reign him in and turn him into a stodgy solid direct passer of the ball.

If you must know, I was actually (genuinely) interested because I sit in the Chapel as well, so was wondering if we sat near to one another, as Charlie’s first goal was right in front of me too.

    Dear oh dear.

Being evasive to a simple, honest question? Maybe I do need to question whether you go after all. Really, as I say, very odd.

For what it is worth, I thought that Boufal was also very good today and getting back and defending. I did not notice Pellegrino jumping out of his seat and thought that the manager was standing for most of the match to be honest.

This is the thing. He's a risk taker. That's fine so far up the pitch. Taking a risk also means that goals are more possible. Let him take his risks. Blimey, we have the best LB in the league backing him up.

Its the 2017/2018 Fraser Foster universal effect. Its like his mass is going to cause the ball into the net from the only shot on target every game. Even if it has to hit 3 uprights on the way! He had a decent controlled game today despite being untroubled.

The more game time, the better he gets. A real part of the group, and it didn't feel like that not so long ago.
