This whole Twitter profile's gone. Viewing it via an internet archive, it's claiming to be the actual ballboy showing the damage Foster did to his hand, for those that missed it. Looks fairly convincing, though there's not a lot of previous content, but it is all about Spurs. Interesting to see if this goes anywhere. Gary Megson's said that he didn't think that Foster took any longer than Lloris did over kicking the ball out. I take it he's going into politics when they bring in a new manager.
I'm not a big fan of rugby, but football could learn a lot from the way it's officiated. Timekeeping, players respecting the officials and the transparency of having them wear mics and cameras would all help. Teams would still timewaste, of course, as it's as much about disrupting flow as it is running down the clock.
Rugby is a game where a smooth and fast game flow is both desired and encouraged. Repeated infringement intended to slow down the pace of the opposition at rucks/mauls means somebody will be spending 10 mins off the pitch. Poorly executed scrums are a way of time wasting, but again refs lose patience quickly and start awarding free/penalty kicks (and if too frequent : see above) .
Taking lessons from No 10 and the White House! Credit where it’s due - that’s Fake News of the highest quality!!
Yeah, he ****ed it up. But he’s only 21, he’ll learn, More concerning for me is our continual failure to break down these type of defenses. It seems that if the opposition neutralise Eriksen, we’re ****ed for an answer The pace down the outside has now gone ( mostly) and unless we find some other creative outlet other than Eriksen, it will continue to be a big problem.
Seems he only scored because he miskicked his shot which trickled past Loris who was waiting for a shot coming at him!
Might be so, Smithy. But Dele ****ed up by being far too casual, and Sanchez should have cleared the ball.
Perhaps Pochettino should turn the tables. Park the bus at Wembley, and let the opposition have it in their own half only. The quality of PL players is such that they're bound to make at least one eff-up and get punished (just like they hope of Spurs) .
I've just seen it again as well. As I said yesterday, if we're going to concede, then at least make the opposition work for it.
