    Cannot argue with that logic, hopefully we can handle MK without him.

    Surprised it's only a one match ban given it was a straight red. Thought he would be suspended for three matches.

    Correct desicion from Lambert but tbh he shouldn't have to even make a choice in the first place...

    All things considered, that works out nicely. I'm sure any appeal would have been dismissed anyway.

    Gives Ayala a chance to prove himself, having not been at Norwich over pre-season.

    Let's face it, an appeal would have been viewed as "frivolous" as, frankly, we aren't Manchester rovers or arsenal athletic or whatever.

    If Chelsea don't get a **** penalty against us next week I'll be amazed. This is the best league in the world but it is RUINED by poor refereeing that protects players that seek to dive to win penalties and get fellow professionals sent off.

    It's a disgrace frankly, good news is Barney is out for a game that he probably wouldn't have been involved in anyway

    Bad news is, we probably would have won yesterday had he been on the pitch, because we wouldnt have been defending deep we would push on. Bitter pill but I expected it from this league.

    Hopefully it will start to even out in our favour...

    oh i'm sure they will get a penalty. Maybe we should start falling over the leg of the last defender as well - then we're not like that are we

    I'm not sure i can face watching the smug gits that are Lineker, Shearer and Hanson on MOTD i might end up punching the TV.

    There is some hope for us as they are not firing on all cylinders at the moment.

    Watching him get sent off had absolutely no appeal for me Dave........... Lambert knows that resistance against the FA is futile so we take it on the chin....

    Absolutely!

    A big part of me wants to go ahead and appeal because of the injustice, but the sensible course of action is the one that the club have adopted, he gets a one match ban from a game that he wouldn't have played in anyway, and those predictable 'old farts' at the FA get no chance to increase the tally for a frivolous appeal!

    <ok>

    Thanks Dave, I thought it was more black and white than that.
