I think he'll stay because he is a sensible lad and realises that his best chance of developing further will be best suited to remaining with us rather than bench warming for one of the big boys
Didn't we all say that about Jacob 5 months ago? I've read about the Everton interest, but until they refloat their capsizing ship, I think we can rule them out. But if say Huddersfield, Burnley or Brighton were interested, clubs where he's going to get game time as opposed to the top 8 where he'd be on the bench at best, I'd be amazed if he didn't consider it seriously.
