Dortmund http://www.bbc.co.42115328/football/42115328 Scroll down and look at the clubs tweet from half time Possibly the mother of all wum **** ups?
We had 73% possession, 24 shots at goal to their 5, 8 corners to their none....we weren't lucky, West Brom were lucky we didn't know how to break through 2 banks of 4 for over 85 minutes. 5 shots on goal out of the 24 suggests we were useless in possession. WBA did nothing to earn a point let alone 3...they took their chance early and parked 2 big buses. Hope they go down dickheads
... I did say similar things after they got a 1-1 at ours earlier this season ... their goal was from a free kick which was their only meaningful attempt on our goal in the entire 90 minutes .... Now whilst you obviously have my sympathy, not all fans seem to think like we do. One particular Spurs fan, admittedly not one of the more astute or knowledgeable, was adamant that a failure to beat West Brom was a sure sign of a catastrophic footballing malaise that could only lead to certain relegation... fortunately, for both of us, he's yet to be correct in any of his predictions and should probably concentrate on maintaining his 100% record in certain polls containing the word "cnut" .. whatever that means
... they are his favourite Italian team ... he knows lots about them and used to have a season ticket at their near neighbours, PSG ...
Battle of two **** sides in the early kick off which is looking huge for both sides even at this stage. Can't see it being a classic.
Charlie Austin is a great striker, a shame in some ways he's injured so much. If Soton can keep him fit for prolonged periods I genuinely think he's a 20 goal a season striker. ****ing deadly.
Not a great professional though by all accounts which doesn't help him. Put loads of weight on over the summer.
He was late bloomer wasn't he? Sure I read he was a bricklayer or something before going into non-league and working his way up. Fair play to him.
