also might be a good thing to see how bad we need investment ,,,so ashley will then then fook off and sell straight away ..
There’s a lot of doubt in reports recently, not sure if this is sources trying to cover their backs but all along there’s been an underbelly of whether or not AS is doing this for publicity.
I think if this was the case the club and Ashley would have slammed her. I am concerned that the deal is at risk especially with our recent form.
I doubt whether a run of dodgy results would bother the potential buyers, they will know that money is needed anyway. The nature of this deal is that word comes out, then we hear nothing for a while, and then word comes out again.
It is definitely highlighting how much money might be needed to spend. But do takeovers take as long as this. I don’t know I. I just don’t trust Ashley at all!
Bad results strengthen the sale probability in my view, as a relegation would wipe a massive amount of the club's worth. And there's presently a £300m offer on the table.
I think we should all take heart from the belief that what Mike Ashley wants, he normal gets. And he wants to sell the club, no two ways about it. I do think he will be haggling over leaving all the advertising in the ground, I think that's the main reason he bought us, to use the club as a vehicle to advertise SD.
I think the only chance of a relegation clause being put in is if we are relegated through the HMRC investigation outcome, either directly or through a points deduction. If you buy a football club you are taking the risk that you can go down (or do well and shoot up the league). It's the gamble you are taking getting into that industry.
Real business isn't done on social media. If things are quiet, it's because people are talking. As for how much time it takes, due diligence is slow but it sounds like it has been finished. Once negotiations are finished, the drafting will take a week or two. As for how long negotiations last, how long is a piece of string ?
Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if it's someone completely out of the blue that buys the club. The Staveley/PCP "interest" is perfect for generating the kind of publicity in the Middle and Far East, so it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Ashley was actually in cahoots with her purely to raise the profile. She alone isn't super rich and a couple of mill kickback for this might be what she's after.
I think ACS should personally raise the funds for a buyout if this doesn't happen within the next two days. He promised it would be done and dusted by the end of November. What with him and Windy continually making up **** rumours and gossip I am starting to lose my faith in posters on here. I am even starting to doubt that: 1) Obi is fat 2) Pouchy is some sort of sex god 3) DPP thinks Haidara is the left back we need 4) Nev is a games organiser
Just heard it will likely take a couple more days. My man on the inside didn’t say how long the delay was. It’s down to the Norry gritty detail so things still on track.
I bet you don’t even have servants. You are probably the house bitch in some rich fellas crib earning 5p a week in wages and having to wear a maids outfit.
