As it happens phil, there are 3 very good acts. Admittedly the rest are crap. Also there was a guest appearance from James Arthur (who we like) and tomorrow the guest is Ed Shearing. I think this is him
not the most riveting game in parts. The first 15 minutes were very stale. Again we looked at our best when we tried to play it out from the back. Having Eze in the side also enables us to break through packed midfields and stretch the game. Something we have sorely missed for a few years. this then encourages others and we avoid the "hoof it over the top" to the front men tactic. Paris put in s good shift today and got in some good crosses. Southwell also worked his butt off, but never seems close to scoring. He is very like CMS without the goals. Stewart put in one of the best tackles ive see at AP. Sadly the resulting ball into the box after he cleared, ended up with them scoring. I think the rest of the team almost sat and watched thinking Yeovil were a dead cert to score and perhaps weren't there to recover once Stewart had made his miraculous tackle. All in all, we didn't look that threatened by Yeovil and should really have increased our lead. We had the odd scary moment, but they aren't half the side we played on Tuesday night. Glad to see us back up to fifth. My only concern is the squad is really stretched at the moment. We desperately need some returning numbers. especially with the meaningless checkertrade game on Tuesday/ Next for some cup action though on Sunday. Guy Wanderer and I will be back to sample more of Wycombe's finest ales, but sadly our lucky cup mascot who came with us to Solihull has cried off to go with his girlfriend to Waddesdon Manor for the day.....shocking stuff
I don't want to tempt fate but with the checkertrade & Leatherhead coming up it is now two weeks to the next league game which is going to help what worries me more is the Christmas fixtures at least we have two at home after Coventry away & not too far to travel to Forest Green & with a bit of luck Luton away will be re-arranged
I was dreading this one as you could tell but we never looked in danger of losing and should have won my a more comfortable margin Eze is class and creates some great one two's with whoever wants to get involved particularly PCH and Bayo great stuff lets hope they is plenty more to come
Apparently QPR had cameras at the game following Eze i'm just praying they let him stay until the end of the season, there's a big difference in playing against League 2 cloggers and The Championship where he'll be lucky to be on the bench.
Yes your right mate here is our list of loan signings On loan Jack Williams (from QPR until end year 2017) Josh Umerah (from Charlton until Jan 15th 2018) Eberechi Eze (from QPR until Jan 2nd 2018) Dan Scar (from Birmingham until Jan 1st 2018)
Maybe with ainsworths qpr connections he is working out an extension to that until the end of the season. They rate him very highly at qpr but surely he is better getting match experience rather than sitting on their bench
