    Moyes had a really generous amount of time from the Sunderland board, 2 points out of his first 10 games and he still had a full season! Not many managers would survive after such a poor start, so he can't really complain about lack of time or resources.

    The problem was more that over 50% of his transfers were players that he had also signed for Everton! Wouldn't be bad if they were good players but they were either has beens (Lescott, Gibson + Pienaar) or just completely average players like Oviedo & Anichebe.
