Bad day at the office today. The work rate wasn't at it's usual level and it's that more than anything else that's kept us competitive this season. Worryingly, though, we were just sending the ball back to the opposition time and time again and you are just inviting them on all the time. On top of that, like I said earlier, our defensive line seems to be higher up the pitch in the last few games and we look vulnerable on the counter attack. Things I'm hoping happen for the next game (although that is away to West Brom so not probable) are: us reverting to 4-2-3-1 because we look more solid, getting Merino back in the middle from the start, getting Lascelles and Dummett back in the back 4, dropping Joselu, and getting that work rate back up to the right levels.
And I don’t expect to be top 10 at all. I expect something to be proud of. That shower of **** is getting more embarrassing each week.
There is. Ashley selling up will make things feel more positive. At least for the short term. The players will feel pressure and might actually start trying harder. The other concerning thing right now is if Stavleys investors are watching results they must be thinking wtf are we buying here. It’s going to cost a fortune just to keep them in the premiership. There is no way if it drags on much longer their bid will stay. Ashley holds all the cards and he’s a ****er with a goal. He’s a stubborn **** aswell and he will dig his heals in for the very best deal. If the deal doesn’t go through then I would fear he would be on the end of the worst revolt in football history!

two full backs leave us really exposed all the time ... and a c forward that can not hit a barn door ... watford looked good with there outstanding center half why oh why can we not scout players like that ..
Look man. I admire your optimism. But unless your going to tell me that everything is going to be ok then please let me vent my frustration. We have been in this position under Ashley. Not once... not twice..... but this is the third time we have flirted with relegation and failed to provide the right resources to keep us in a mid table position. This for me is a valid reason to be panicking right now. If he stays we are ****ed. It really is that simple!
just got back to the office Watford like other prem teams have sussed out that Yedlin is only 5 foot nowt and all the Watford players were at least a foot taller with Ritchie at 5 foot 1" it was obvious where Watford were going to exploit they bombed Yedlin with the high ball all game anyone watch the game online ?? would like to know how a 2 footed lunge at one of our players is not even a foul even though it happened right in front of the assistant ref the lino on the East Stand side was attrocious
