    Liverpool make five changes for this afternoon’s Premier League fixture with Chelsea at Anfield.

    Daniel Sturridge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain come into the Reds’ three-man attack, while James Milner and Simon Mignolet also start.

    Meanwhile, Joel Matip returns after recovering from a knock and Adam Lallana is named on the bench for the first time in 2017-18.

    Dejan Lovren and Emre Can are ruled out of the fixture due to injury.

    Liverpool: Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Klavan, Moreno, Henderson, Milner, Coutinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Sturridge.

    Subs: Karius, Wijnaldum, Firmino, Mane, Lallana, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold.

    At least Robertson has made the bench so once Moreno starts messing up they can take him off. Surprised Mane and Firminho are dropped.

    Hopefully it lines up with Salah and Sturridge up top.

    If its 4-3-3 then I have no idea what Klopp is playing at!

    he's been out with a hamstring and played both games recently. was left on v Seville so I can understand protecting the guy.

    firmino left on as well.

    it's a how that we see them launched.on 60mins here to try and win it if we are still in the game of course.

    formation

    4222


    sturridge and salah up front
    ox right coutinho left
    Henderson and Milner central.
    Gomez doesn't go forward.

    We at wide with coutinho and ox to push their wing backs back of we cannon high press and if not we tuck into to crowd midfield.

    or.we are just ****

    Think it will be 4231, with Hendo and Milner sitting in front of the back four and Sturridge as a loan striker in front of Coutinho and Ox & Salah wide . Ox will give some protection to Moreno, and boy does he need it!

    I would just take a look at the front line how we set up. when chelsea have it at the back who is wide left and wide right.
