Phillips not at his best today and gave away possession a few times but certainly not a passenger. The skilful trio were excellent today but, to allow them to play needs a lot of miles putting in by the two holding just to break things up when we don’t have the ball. When Shaughnessy came on, and I am not knocking the lad, we were pressured more than we had been all game. Shows how difficult that role is. He can even throw a ball further that Lonergran can kick it and I hope he kicks on from here, Well played Ekuban too. Wasn’t sure when I first saw him but impressed today. Well done TC, delighted for an evidently nice guy. But for me, really well done Rads. Many have said so many times, what managers would want the Leeds job with the joke owners we have had to endure. By sticking with TC in such a terrible run may change the perception of the rest of the football world that LUFC does not have to be synonymous with uncertainty and knee jerk sackings. Missed the game today. Combination of jet lag, stinking cold, & not knowing we had an early ko. Spotted this post on Twatter when I was looking for the line-ups (got the result instead!). Anyone agree with this? Seems to be quite a change in tactics, if true. Perhaps TC has a bit more nous than some would credit him with .... Fair play to Christiansen today who made a number of big calls today. Significant change to the way Leeds played today. Back four asked to hit it long, heavy concentration of passes in the final third. Honest assessment. Barnsley were abysmal and we matched them. Two quality goals but we are papering over canyons. In the long term if this means Orta and Tc are kept it’s a bad day for lufc. I see no signs of this mid table team improving.
Not being a pedantic person but.......... "The adjective honest is perfect for describing someone who tells the truth. If you're always honest, it means you're truthful and sincere no matter what" Could we just therefore say it was your opinion of the match ?
