Just to inject a dose of realism, I'm beginning to join those that are not sold on Phillips, lost the ball where Janssen picked up his yellow card and loses it a lot imo. We get better quality in to replace Phillips & O'Kane and we could be challenging in midfield (in addition to a LB & GK). Saiz is absolute quality so Orta can spot some players??
Good going in at halftime 2-0 up. 2 good goals from Saiz and Alioski, good ball from Alioski to set up Saiz for the shot and goal. Saiz back in scoring mode and Alioski has found his shooting boots. Alioski picked up the ball from Ayling and slotted a nice curler into corner of goal leaving the keeper with no chance. Football's been good but not brilliant, and as someone said in a previous article, we need to learn to win ugly. I suspect we'll come out better in second half as we don't have the sun in our eyes.
I think the main point is I'm not sure he will ever get good enough to dominate / run the midfield. And whoever said he doesn't sort danger is spot on, never follows his opposition midfielder's runs forward. Happy to be 2 up, we deserve it. Lets not **** it up. I want a 4-0 win.
