The doctor reckons if I watch the cricket with the knowledge others can't I'll make a speedy recovery whilst laughing at the same time.

Smith and Australia fighting back 151-4. Two more wickets would be massive.

    "England collapse". Familiar words.

Smith and Marsh didn't look bothered at all by England's bowling with the ageing ball. Hopefully we aren't waiting for the new ball before we get another wicket or two (18 overs to go).

All to play for tomorrow, again. Another vital first session, lets hope our bowlers come out refreshed and up for it.

Talking about careers being ended, I think David Unsworth's Everton caretaker career will be ended by last night's 5-1 home defeat by Atalanta.

    Atalanta who?

    Setting itself up nicely

Once again, big first session tomorrow - couple of early wickets and I can see us getting a small first innings lead which psychologically would be a huge boost - especially at the Gabba

There's the breakthrough. Marsh gone on 51. New ball before long. Need to get Smith's wicket.

England need to get a plan together for how they are going to get Smith out for the next 9 innings because he looks in total control here. England will probably lose this match. If Stokes had been there then they would probably win it.

Australia all out with a 26 run lead. If we don't lose more than 1 wicket today then we will have a chance. I just see a capitulation coming here.
