I call it 'fundraising'.

Used to work door to door raising money for charity which is essentially selling yourself so used the skills in everyday life.

Whether it's talking someone into sorting me a bong, convincing a pal to go to the pub I want to go to or convincing a chick that I'm a nice guy.

All of the above I can use the same sales tactics to make them believe what I'm saying.

They all got 'fundraised' init.
