A bee in the bonnet or rivalry? Football would be **** without rivalry.

I've said it umpteen times before and I'll say it again...Leicester were in direct rivalry with us...before that they weren't on the radar and now they are not on the radar once again.

What's the bee in your Bonnet about Spurs fans lauding Harry Kane?

Plus what was the bee in your bonnet when we were challenging Leicester? You and many others were wishing with your every prayer that it was Leicester and not us that won the league...isn't that exactly the same as your claim that Spurs fans have a problem with Chelsea and Arsenal having success?

    Typical Bopey responses.

When was the last time you could put rivalry to one side and give an honest appraisal?

Yes always....not that I care...I give as good as I get but don't try to make out as though my statement is irrational.

Lets explore your exaggerated claim that Spurs always flirt with the top 4. Since the conception of the premier league in 92 you have finished 4th or better just four times out of 25!
Sometimes or Rarely would have been more accurate. <ok>

Oh come on, Leicester winning the league? Leicester ****ing City?
Every one (bar Spurs fans) was rooting for them to win the league.
It wasn't necessarily to do with hating Spurs, but rooting for the impossible.
I even said at the time I was torn, because even though Leicester winning the league was amazing, watching Arsenal fan TV after a Spurs title win would have been truly something to behold <laugh>
We were well out of it by that stage in 10th place having a **** season, so I had no horse in that race and wouldn't have been very bothered either way.

Sad fact is (and this is the same for you with Skiddy and Chelsea) the main reason I would not want Spurs to do well is because HIAG would be unbearable.
I can guarantee brb would have to ban him.

Enough to make you go full pelt with your arse ache because if there is no threat you wouldn't act threatened.

I'll leave the pedantic details to you <ok>

fair enough you can hide your intentions behind the fact that it was cuddly wuddly Lesta Westa and the whole country bar Spurs fans were behind them....the fact that it was Spurs didn't affect certain fans ****fest...nope...that's why you celebrated a draw at home against us like you'd won the league yourself

The small club mentality came out that night didn't it....or were you all celebrating that Lesta won it?

I can only speak for myself, but I wasn't celebrating anything except for the fact that we got a little bit of form back and managed to avoid defeat to a good team for once that season.
Mostly I was marvelling at how badly Spurs crumbled during that game, completely lost their **** and started attacking our players, and the narrative that our players somehow deserved it (well....maybe Costa <whistle>) and that it was a big show of strength from Spurs that they "wouldnt be pushed around", when in reality, they lost the title and completely buckled and showed their fragility.
Once again, HIAG was the culprit behind that BS.
Every Spurs player bar your goalkeeper and one of your subs was booked in that game.

We buckled? Unless we won the league we would be accused of buckling it. We gave Lesta the closest thing to a rivalry that season on their way to the title...every other team was utter dog ****. If we buckled and showed fragility every other team was something worse.

You need to make your mind up Bope you are either talking about yourself in which case you need to give your views or you talk for the general consensus on here in which case you need to accept it that you share the views of the majority(a bit like a sheep) you can't back everyone up against a view point but when there is a hole in it you turn around and say 'I can only speak for myself and I wasn't like that'

I was celebrating like **** and its no secret that a very large portion of all London based Chelsea fans hate Spurs. Every clubs fans hate someone Spurs hate West Ham etc. So as Chelsea were nowhere near that year that for me was the game I enjoyed the most.

Ps. I know that will shock most people but at least I'm honest. :)

I mean you buckled in that game specifically!
How can you argue that you didn't buckle in that game?
Your team lost it, as soon as we equalised, Spurs went mental.
    It was hilarious to watch.
Costa got a rake to the eyes (when for once he hadn't provoked it, he was actually trying to break up a scuffle at the time).
They decided Hazard would look better with one leg

I dont like Spurs much either to be honest.
But if you had asked me which club I hated most out of Arsenal and Spurs 5 years ago, it would have been Arsenal, no question.
    Now?
Spurs by a country mile, and it is their fans that have done that, not the club.

  17. It's probably more down to the fact that we're quite likely to over-shadow you, over the next decade. Arsenal never really got close, and now they're practically insignificant to both our clubs.

You cannot despise anything you don't fear, mate.

  20. Oh! Pix... it's you!

I thought you'd still be in hiding after being humiliated in the Europey, last night, mate?

    Okay.

Well, it's good to see you brazening it out.
