For sure but with these words they're painting themselves into a corner if a strong, clear case is presented. They'd have no excuses if protests continued then.
They don't have any excuses anyway. They could fix 95% of the issues within 1 day if they had any intention of doing so. Dialogue with these scumbags won't work.
So nothing has changed? The Allams claim to listen to us, but they know exactly what would stop the protests and what they need to do. They don't need to consult the fans they know exactly what they need to do without consulting anyone. Yet the fact they pretend to listen to us and nothing changes is meant to be good news? It's time people woke up and smelt the coffee, this isn't good news. It's no news, apart from the Allams have got away with it yet again. Don't stop protesting guys, I won't stop boycotting.
Introduction In one sense the big meeting changed nothing, in another it has changed everything. The Allams sitting down with Geoff Bielby is a significant change and should be recognised as such. The Allams made no concrete proposals which is disappointing. However they have said they want suggestions on the use of the name and concessions from those in attendance. That puts a responsibility on those groups and individuals to come up with something concrete. The state we are in We are in a relegation battle and there is widespread hatred and mistrust of the owners. We have an unbalanced team and an inexperienced manager. The atmosphere in the ground is awful and toxic. The owners can't sell and get their money back even if they wanted to. Many City supporters are voting with their feet and cancelling their membership. Enough to cause the club to ring round non-attending supporters asking them to buy a ticket. We are in a mess and need to find a way out both on and off the pitch. The scoreboard A simple sign of good faith by the Allams would be to put Hull City v Bristol City on the scoreboard tomorrow. It would be there for all of us to see. It wouldn't require a change in the "brand guidelines". It just requires Ehab to ask someone to change "Tigers" to "Hull City" on the computer. Use of Hull City The club have a point over the use of Hull City, The Tigers and Tigers. A 500 word article that continually uses Hull City to refer to the club is a bit silly. Especially if the staff are reluctant to use Hull City because of what has happened in the past. Having a set of guidelines would be helpful for all concerned. My initial thoughts would be: 1. The Facebook page be altered to read Hull City 2. The domain name of the website to be changed to Hull City. If owned by somebody else a request to transfer it to the club be made for no fee. 3. At least 95% of matches be advertised as "Hull City", the remainder as "The Tigers". Included those shown on Tigers TV. 4. At least 50% of headlines on the web page, programme and Facebook page to include "Hull City". The remainder to be "The Tigers". 5. Only use the word "Tigers" were it seems sensible, ie "Tigers' captain Michael Dawson" reads better than "The Tigers' captain Michael Dawson", at least to me. Concessions There will be no bigger test of the Allams sincerity than how they respond to proposals to re-introduce concessions. However there is no point in the Trust or the OSC devising a scheme without having access to some of the information held by the club. If the club has computer software which allows different prices to be tapped in to aid planning for membership/ticket price planning then this should be available to the Supporters Forum. I would say the following is a guide to the type of information required: 1. Number of members 2. Number of members who have given notice 3. Number of members aged 65 or over 4. Number of members aged 60 or over 5. Number of disabled members 6. Number of members aged 12 or under 7. Number of members aged 13 to 18 8. Number of members aged 18 to 25 9. How much money does the club wish to raise from members/ticket sales I would say if this information is provided it should be straightforward for the Trust/OSC/ Senior Tigers/other members to come up with suggestions. The club should then make resources available to any member of the Forum (including the Trusts) to canvas opinion on any suggested changes through the website and the e-mail notices before being put formally to the Supporters Forum meeting. Conclusion I believe the Trust and the OSC should come up with suggestions for the use of our name and the re-introduction of concessions. They will then have done as much as can be reasonably expected. It will then be up to the Allams to decide whether they accept them or not.
Sorry Obi but they won't play ball - theyre taking the piss - they went public with the talks/ amnesty so the hooligans wouldn't disrupt Queens visit and if there was a disruption they could claim that they'd handed an olive branch to the fans and this is how they responded - royal visit over they have to be seen to be holding talks - nothing will happen as they have no intention of anything happening - they are stripping the club of assets and will continue to do so until the parachute money has gone - as I said earlier the fans are a nothing to them they really don't give a **** - they hold all the aces - they don't need to offer concessions they don't need to use Hull City - the only way to get at them is to belittle them in public - trash their egos - bad press , make them look stupid - that will piss them off - then you might get a reaction
They do use the name Hull City. They don't use it enough or in the ground. £1 cheaper for OAPs and children is a concession. Would you be happy if they did that? I bloody wouldn't be.
Is no-one allowed to be flippant anymore? The more enlightened would have realised that using the proper name and bringing back universally recognised concessions would be a start. Are we now in a situation where the supporters have to spell it out in fine print to the owners about the situation? As if they didn't know. Cut off all dialogue now. They are taking us for idiots.
Thanks Obi It would take me five minutes to put in the figures, but there is no real need for a great deal of thought. No business lets its customers dictate the prices and so I do not think that there is any point. The club should produce a range of options and these should be considered. Same applies to the use of the name, supporters do not need to spend any time on a list.

It wouldn't require a change in the "brand guidelines". It just requires Ehab to ask someone to change "Tigers" to "Hull City" on the computer. #boom. It is that easy. We wait with baited breath. It of course wouldn't be enough, but it would be a start. Many other things would also only take 5 mins (an instruction, a phone call, from Ehab). -> The club should produce a range of options and these should be considered. Same applies to the use of the name, supporters do not need to spend any time on a list #boom. Again, it's that simple. They (Allams) know everything they need to know already about how the majority of fans feel. They are fuc.king us about (yet again), and some are falling for it (yet again). #actionsnotwords. It would take literally 5 mins to start righting wrongs.
They must have started to think how they can halt the slide in order to make it slightly more attractive to buy after they have squeezed every last penny out they can. That of course will be after next years premier league payment. So my take is similar to many on here and I agree with Omega Man. Why bother wasting supporters time and effort? Let them squirm. The gates are going to get even smaller to the point where they will be forced drop the official attendance figure to 14,000 tops. If it isn't worth anything when they want to ditch they'll have to give it away. We will be in division 2 by then anyway. What a pair of ****ers. What an opportunity they had to go down in history as the best ever owners and he would have got what he wanted most. Praise and his ego boosted pretty much 365 days a year for the next 50 years. Maybe a plaque or even a statue. He'd have loved that so long as he didn't have to mingle with the great unwashed. Both of them are stupid and deluded. What a legacy. What a **** up. Carry on looking after the shareholders Ehab and go **** yourself.
But that's the point The brand guidelines will be a formal document which tells everyone when to use each Easy to write to ensure those four options are used correctly
