I don't suppose we're the only club to be owned and run by a set of numpties and I don't, for one minute, think we'll be the last...From hero's to zero's..
How incredibly sad. What could have been. Now we're on the crest of a slump and theres no telling where it might end...Instead of been a member of the (supposed) best league in the world. Still, whatever HCAFC will out live these herberts and, I'll still be giving those wearing the shirt my support.

Some people still don't seem to get it

1 Allam didn't want his big day ****ing up by hooligans

2 he asked for amnesty on pretext of movement in stance

3 they have no intention of changing their stance

4 they buy time by asking supporters to go away and develop proposals

5 supporters return with new proposals that are disected and rejected by Allam as unworkable or unacceptable

6 parties agree meeting has been productive, progress has been made and agree to meet again

The Allams are bothered about three things only

    1 themselves
    2 their reputation
    3 money

Trust me, they don't give a flying **** about what the fans want - fans are expected to accept whatever **** they come up with - it's their business and no-one tells them how to run their business, they won't allow it, take comfort from their cv

Last night's meeting was an exercise for two ****s massaging their egos demonstrating to themselves that they could manipulate a bunch of non entities

It was a mistake announcing that progress was being made - the message loud and clear should have been one of intransigence by the Allams - a refusal to call the team Hull City, a refusal to offer concessions and a refusal to offer anything to demonstrate they wanted to improve the relationship with the fans, their irrelevant customers - thats what should have been written all over the press - initiative lost I'm afraid

So Ehab Allam knows that for many periods of our history our name was not on the club badge. Why did no one immediately challenge him as to what our club name has been for ALL of our history?

That actually sounds quite positive. In a number of instances the club is inviting the supporter groups to present their ideas that could rectify a lot of the grievances felt between the club and supporters, e.g. on concessions, marketing of the club, and the badge. If the groups can come up with strong, credible proposals in those areas, the club would be folly to not accept them going forward.

For example in terms of branding:

    - Consistent use of club name as Hull City across all forms of Social Media (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter).
    - Consistent use of club name as Hull City in all official events (Hull City Hall of Fame, etc.)
    - Consistent use of "The Tigers" in any usage alongside other club nicknames (e.g. "Wolves v The Tigers")
    - Use of the official hashtag on tweets and wherever else appropriate (#hcafc)

Something like the above, perhaps expanded for all potential usages of the club name to eliminate any loopholes/gaps, would be quite a simple and straight forward proposal and one the club would find difficult to reject based on the above minutes. The various groups could even run polls in various places to survey their members and if an overwhelming majority approved of the proposal, that would only strengthen the case to the club.

A poll of various badge designs could also be run and presented to the club.

There's a big opportunity now that the club has opened up for genuine consultation, and if they have identified that these groups represent the majority or at least a large section of City fans, then it's a good way forward.

    So

The committee have been asked to review the brand guidelines

They’ll obviously have to see them to do that. Can someone post them here please?

I’ll review the ****ers (I have actually been responsible for brand guidelines before so I’m happy to actually review them seriously. And I’m not telling you which ‘brand’ either, but I can guarantee you’d recognise it)

*There’ll be better people than me to do it, but I have some thoughts on how the owners should be referred to in communications which are worth including!!!

Do HCST and AFC have dialogue? I imagine that would be a good thing.

No, we aren't having it. Just a rubbish attempt to have your grinning face beaming out of the foreground of everything Hull City. Reg Holdsworth esq

    The problem is here.
    • EA offered the Committee the opportunity to come up with amends to the brand guidelines which are easy to follow, consistent, and would create a clear set of guidelines for the Club to follow
When you have the option to use Hull City, Hull City AFC, The Tigers or The Club how can there be a consistent and clear set of guidelines? it needs a common sense approach and sadly that bit is missing from the Allam CV.

The reply was a tad harsh, but the point is the twats aren't consulting, it's not in their DNA, they already know exactly what needs doing. We need actions not weeks of delay, hollow words and more lies.
For a clue, simply see my avatar.
There's a whole list of stuff they need to put right, and they know exactly what's on the list because they created it. (Name, badge, concessions, fair pricing, WSUpper, gate, Airco, Council sign, apologies, mending broken relationships, telling the truth, etc etc etc).
Let's see actions then it's time to talk. They are toying with us once again, and too many are falling for it. FFS, how many times will it take before some people get it.
