Dev (I think) said some b.s story about death threats being shouted at Lennon at that game. He of course could not back up his story with ANY evidence but saying that his friends told him about it.
You sure your not getting your wires crossed? http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/s...all-in-specialist-lip-readers-86908-23143045/ Celtic manager Neil Lennon cleared of racially abusing Rangers star El Hadji Diouf after police call in specialist lip-readers
FF did indeed once hired a professional lip reader.. However, it later turned out that their 'expert' was widely discredited to such a point that she had been banned from giving evidence in Court in England. I'm sure if you go on and ask your brethren there, they'll give you her details
Thanks stalker. But that's a different story from the one about FF followers wanting to hire their own lip reader as you will know if you read it. Or were you banned by then?
'Supporters Trust positively identifies true culprits from Celtic shame game' âFollowing distorted and unbalanced accounts of events at Ibrox on Saturday 20th November, and after receiving numerous complaints from Rangers supporters concerning the conduct of Martin OâNeill and Neil Lennon, the Trust has secured the services of an independent lip-reading expert to analyse the comments clearly shouted at home fans at the end of the match. âRegrettably, our worst fears have been confirmed, as the lady concerned, who is often called as an expert witness as a forensic lipreader in the English courts, has confirmed that Neil Lennon clearly shouted the phrase âOrange B******s!â at the home support, as well as other abuse directed towards the Rangers bench. âAt a time when both The Scottish Executive, and the media seem determined to stamp out religious bigotry from Scottish society, the fact that such a high profile Celtic player shouted such obscenities at the home fans at the end of an eventful match, after other colleagues had also lost their discipline, and particularly in full view of a large live television audience certainly warrants further investigation. âThe Trust finds it difficult to understand why this incident, witnessed by so many people at the game, and even more on television, has been ignored by the media and now believes that an investigation by the Police, possible reference to the Procurator Fiscal, certainly an unequivocal condemnation from Nil by Mouth, an investigation by the Press Complaints Commission into unbalanced reporting of the whole affair, a charge by the SFA of bringing the game into disrepute, and, most importantly, a full apology from the culprit are all appropriate actions following such misconduct.â
FFS It appears that history-deniers don't even have to wait a year to re-write things now. The police had to investigate because Follow Follow encouraged posters to email the police complaining about it including the police email address and congratulating each other when it had been sent after one of them claimed his wife was a lip-reader. The police had to hire a lip-reader to discredit it. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/s...alicious-outrageous-and-false-86908-22970190/ The police spokesman said how unpleasant the whole thing was and how it originated from Rangers fans on a forum "egging each other on" to complain about it. Here's Girvan's article on here about it. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/35111-The-Racism-of-Neil-Lennon Two huns in my work fell out with me (seriously!!!) because, after showing the clip, I said that you couldn't categorically say what he said - others said it looked like "****ing dick". Both of those Huns heard about it first on Follow Follow and, I don't doubt were amongst the 200 people who sent complaint emails to the police (and should be charged with wasting their time).
