Yup, I admit that Ashton - we'll have to live with that. We've been beaten 3 times this season - by Preston, Brum and you - 3 poor teams none of which will finish top 6.
Recurring theme here then as two of our three defeats have been against Preston and Birmingham. Just as well we don't play them every week ! Not sure if we will or wont finish top 6, or you come to that. The likes of Boro, and Villa have found some form. Derby and Leeds are capable of beating anyone on their day.
I'm not sure where we will finish on Tuesdays showing bottom half,if we can get back to playing as we have done top 10. I say Warnock will get Cardiff a playoff spot. Us i just think the clubs catching us up will overtake us.
Yes, funny that's been the case for both of us against Preston and Brum. As for Boro and Villa coming good, we've already beaten both of them and stuffed Leeds as well. I agree about Derby though - they've got a lot more to come. Of the others outside the current top 6 I still rate Sheff Wed - they've had some stuttering performances so far but if they click there are few in this division who can outplay them.
Pretty sure that come May us, Cardiff and Sheff Utd won't all, if any of us be in the top 6. I said pre season anything above 12th is a big improvement on last season and think on form so far we could even be top 10. Unlike many clubs in this league we don't have the luxury of Premeirship parachute payments to help us, so it will always be a struggle for the clubs without it to compete with that sort of financial advantage.
I agree Sheff Utd are on a post promotion roll but their bubble may burst. Wolves are pulling away a bit and at this point look a good bet for an automatic place, but it's still early days, and the Championship is still a division where virtually anyone can beat anyone.
Strange team Derby, and their results have been peaks and troughs. We stuffed them in Bristol, but they can still come good and make a real challenge if they find consistency.

If you want to draw comparisons, Leeds were flying top of the League until they played us and were brought down to earth with a bump. Then they stuffed you on your own patch - must just have been a bad day for you eh?. Beating us 2-1 on your ground against 10 men must have been the highlight of the season for you - what happened against Preston then? On that basis Preston must be better than both of us. I told banksy (or was it really you ) that I never get upset on here, provoked maybe to get a response like you're trying now, but never upset. Us or Cardiff Warnock is the master in the championship Rod,I'm sure he will get a top six spot,us not so sure.
RR - we'll be there and you wont, mainly because we've got Warnock. Must admit you've done far better up till now than I thought you would, but it wont last. Honest opinion only and I stand to be shot down. I'll even hang around through the season to give you clear shot.
