I was out with Bri yesterday and he brought up the idea of playing footgolf. I've always been curious about this and I think it's a good idea. I've done a quick check and it's usually in the £10-£12 price range.

Would anybody on here be interested in a game?

Not sure what it is, but when we were youngens we used to aim for distant targets with a football and had them down as par 3, 4 and 5 depending on how far they were away..

I looked at that one mate, it seems alright. It would have to be after new year for me.

It's exactly that but you now have to pay for it. On a serious note though it's excellent fun and no one gets competitive. ...honest :emoticon-0127-lipss

Have a bit of a dodgy knee so would not get the distance I would have in the past, but I would be up for it all the same.

There are tennis courts in the park our club uses for practice and matches. You are more likely to see a soccer ball bandied about than a tennis racquet there.

I'd happily play but my arthritic knees and feet might play havoc with me :emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin

Today is Thanksgiving. You know - turkey on the table and football on the TV. I just could't bring myself to call a soccer ball a foot ball today. That would be tantamount to treason.

You’ll look dapper mate!! Might bag myself a set of plus-fours if this game is on in January. You’ll bloody need them down Roseberry Grange... with your long, woolly socks.
