Or come up to Scarborough and watch the Seadogs Sometime Hooligans Welcome PS. Standing room only as all seats have sold out for this season in sit down stand
While I welcome dialogue .. it could have been used as a massive pr plus for the Allams to concede ground in just one of the topics raised. Alas it seems Geoff and his merry band may as well have held the discussions with the walls at the Kcom. Problem now is that any future protests and it will be claimed by the Allams that they have tried but the supporters are being unreasonable, and from the outside looking in, that's how it will probably perceived. Catch 22 is now upon us.
Right. We have 2 sides who are firmly entrenched, and there's been no communication between them for years. Last night was a chance to stare each other in the eye, get the measure of each other, and start to build something. Geoff is not a fool. If he thinks it was a positive first step, then that's good enough for me. I can't believe anyone seriously thought that last night the Allams would just agree to everything put in front of them immediately, like it or not, businesses do not work like that. I think it might as well be a good idea to accept that, certainly in the short term, they're not going anywhere, so it's a case of trying to make that work, or not. Make your own mind up, but be aware you're responsible for your actions as much as others are for theirs. Yes these things will take time, but at least the first tentative steps have been made. So for me, I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic. Support the team & manager, and keep a wary eye on the rest.
Everything I've heard mentioned suggested that both Allams were in attendance but, for some reason, the summary makes no reference.
Doing **** all is not a positive Mr Happy They could have done a number of simple things such as agree or announce HULL CITY AFC shirt badge back for next season A simple thing Just for starters. They won't change **** all
The Allams went into last nights meeting knowing full well what was going to be asked of them. There was one of those things that was piss easy to remedy. Not only was it piss easy to remedy, it's ****ing stupid to not remedy, as using different names on different forms of communication serves absolutely no purpose, other than to piss off the fans. The fact that they didn't even move on this, suggests to me that there's no serious intent to address any of the issues. If their intention here was to use this meeting to stop further protests, then they've failed.
I believe and truly hope that you're right. As I suspected they never moved an inch, the meeting was a pretty pointless exercise for all but the Allam's. They clearly wouldn't have arranged it and attended if there was any benefit for anyone other than themselves. The only thing that I can take some comfort from is that their idiotic stand and total belligerence is going to see one of their own businesses laid in ruins by the time they've finished, yet they're far too entrenched in their massively overinflated egos to realise that there will always be a Hull City AFC, even if the current club goes bust it will rise from the ashes, without them.
If got an image of both the Allans rubbing their grubby little hands together saying silly ****s fell for that ****e
You and every other NORMAL Hull City fan. The ass licking Egyptian loving bed-fellows will be dancing in the streets today. The ****s
'In discussions on branding Ehab did not rule out the use of Hull City in the emblem. He did point out during City’s long history there has been numerous seasons when the emblem has not featured the team’s name. He is open to suggestions but provided these are fed through the correct channels.' He's got absolutely no intention of addressing this has he? The **** him.
Cheers TOM. The picture becomes clearer, and the reason for Geoffs cautious optimism seems more sensible now. It was a start.
Im starting to see why you've been excluded from any meetings now... You're *that* guy aint ya? The grumpy, fractious old bastard who is never going to be happy, even if he gets everything his own way.
In a nutshell, 3 hours of their life wasted. At least I had a good night at snooker and won a nice piece of Pork on the meat draw
