Well, it seems the high high's weren't very high high for long long. While we were better than Wolves in patches, especially after Alioski's goal, and before Vieiras sending off, Wolves rose to top to eventually win 4-1, after Vieiras sending off, not that I'm reminding anyone. Their first goal from a free kick, by all accounts Lonergan shouldn't have had to dive for that ball, he should've just plucked it out the air. Lonergan should've done a lot better. Their second, 3 of our defenders around their scorer and they couldn't stop him, Lonergan got a hand to it, should've palmed it away.....Defensive error. Their third, Can someone please tell me where the eff was Ayling? he goes wandering too far, leaves a bloody big gap and Wolves see it, exploit it and score a third...Ayling error. Their fourth, Saw a bit of a scramble in our goal area after a fumble by Lonergan. We then see a pass to their player who got around Ayling and left him for dead. Lonergan did the right thing in coming out, and after replaying it over and over, I can't see where Lonergan committed the foul, did look more like a dive from the Wolves player though. As I've previously mentioned, and suspected for a couple of seasons now, someone is telling certain refs to ref a certain way when it comes to Leeds games, there can't be that many bad refs in the FA / FL. Our goal, good link up between Saiz and Alioski. Saiz gave Alioski pretty much a pinpoint pass and Alioski slams it in back of the net, great goal. After Alioski's goal we picked ourselves up and had Wolves on the back foot and back pedalling, then Vieira got sent off, Wolves took advantage and scored 2 more goals. TC's subbings, Ekuban for Roofe I can understand, Roofe is not a single striker, and isn't really strong enough for this league. Dallas for Saiz, left winger for an attacking mid , don't understand that one with the score at 4-1; what was TC hoping to achieve with that subbing. O'Kane for Hernandez..mmmmm. Score is 2-1 to Wolves and Leeds down to 10 men, so TC brings on a CM for an attacking mid. TC didn't want to win this one then, or he conceded early, stupid subbing. By all accounts Wolves dominated our midfield when we didn't have'em back pedalling after the Alioski goal, so why is it Phillips survived a subbing yet again, he must've played a blinder of a game, I must've missed it but someone surely saw it. Like most now, TC's pretty much lost me, I just don't think he's got the technical know how for this league, or Leeds. Don't be surprised if O'Leary's standing in reserve.
