Stop going, don't line their pockets anymore. He can change the attendance figures to what he likes but you can't make 5,000 look like 15,000.
Bollocks. Concessions concessions concessions. Name name name. Nothing else. That gives them leeway to waffle.
Spot on. The only thing I would add is that it would seem the Allams had prepared to maximise the recording of the event and will no doubt use it to give themselves a collaborative reason for calling the meeting - which is simply bollocks. What was found out that was not already known, in spades?
It's just that I wasn't at the meeting and have only spoken to Geoff online. He got home late and I was in bed before he'd had chance to say very much. He's still updating us on the full situation this morning.
I predict we will reach 60 pages before the next meeting and I don't know when the next meeting is planned for. The Allams will give nothing and they feed off your love for Hull City. I have total admiration for the supporter groups who are trying to change things for us all, you must have the patience of a saint. The best bargaining tool is to hit their pockets. Whilst you still pay your money they could not give a flying fig about you. It's time to man up to their ****tyiness folks. Have some pride in yourselves and tell them to **** off. Time to ditch the membership.
I think it's too LATTE to ask for that now. Go to the next meeting in your CAPnCHINOS and ESPRESSO your desire for this to be looked at. Whatever you do don't get in a FRAP about it.
all we need is a couple of the regulars to get involved in some pointless bickering and 60 will be smashed in 3 days never mind weeks
Trouble is, they’re dealing with delusional barefaced liars. Do leopards change their spots? Why after all this time are they about to soften? Hope I’m proven wrong, and tomorrow is a nice sunny day and we all skip to work. I just don’t see it.
Perish the thought something positive might have happened at the meeting. HCST have tried to do something positive rather than just sitting sniping from the comfort of their laptop so good on them. And maybe the Allams have too.
No movement on concessions, but Hull City branding talks more positive as owners agree to meet fans again Hull City owners Assem and Ehab Allam met with eight supporters to discuss a number of issues at the club please log in to view this image Hull City vice chairman Ehab Allam during the Championship match at The Den A first meeting between Hull City owner Assem Allam and Hull City supporters for over four years has been described as ‘positive’ after the club owners met with fans last night. The City chairman and vice chairman Ehab Allam staged a meeting with eight supporters at the KCOM Stadium to address a number of key issues such as membership concessions, club branding and the relationship between the club and its supporters in the wake of recent protests. The fans were represented by the Official Supporters Club, the Senior Tigers and the Hull City Supporters Trust, with five fans present with no attachment to any group or organisation. A meeting that lasted over three and a half hours ended with no clear resolution on any of the topics, however there is a commitment to continue the discussions further at a second meeting pencilled in for either December 12 or 14, a move welcomed by many supporters. The openness for further dialogue has been warmly welcomed by Hull City Supporters Trust chairman Geoff Bielby, who after seeing years of no open line of communication, says it is a significant step forward to now at least have dialogue with the club. “It was a positive meeting and the fact they were willing to meet fans was a step forward because there is a dialogue now and a commitment to meet again and maintain that dialogue,” explained Mr Bielby. “Ehab Allam has committed to look at the club’s branding guidelines and that will be high on the agenda for the meeting in December. I’m grateful to the owners for a commitment to what we hope will be positive dialogue moving forward.” The meeting was chaired by Ehab Allam, who did the majority of the talking on behalf of the owners, with issues such as the branding of the club as Hull Tigers and the recent protests at the Nottingham Forest game dominating a lot of the conversation. The owners made clear their feelings the recent protests of the Nottingham Forest game had a detrimental affect on the team. While the meeting was born from the Allam family's frustration following those protests and a request for peace, the main issue for the majority of supporters is that of concessions, a feeling that's only been amplified in the wake of a proposed new pricing structure that sees adult tickets raised by £6 in all areas to cover the cost of cheaper tickets for children. While there was no sign of any movement at this stage on the issue of concessions, the owners did appear open to discuss further the branding of the club and have further dialogue at the next meeting to find a resolution to the branding issue which would be suitable to both parties. With few expecting any major changes after a first meeting in so long, news of an open channel of dialogue will be welcomed by many supporters. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/no-movement-concessions-hull-city-819896
A whole load of nowt then, the branding doesn't need meetings to sort it out just start using the name Hull City. And no change to the concessions offer, well who would have thought that. The can has been kicked a bit further down the road.
