i know. You are saying diving players will make it a non contact sport. I'm just suggesting theres a grey area of the game and their will always be contact

This is something that really pisses me off, especially from so called experts like pundits (and so called supporters).
Not every contact is a foul, by the same token not every fall without contact is a dive.
When players are moving at speed or in tight spaces and go down the experts (and supporters) look at a freeze frame of a foot 1/2" away from him and scream "dive" even if he doesn't appeal for a foul, they seem to ignore the fact that people can fall over when taking evasive action.
Lack of playing as kids I suspect, or just plain bias.

So, when for instance a player decides to "take evasive action" and on their way to the deck deliberately make contact with an opponent's leg to fool the ref(ala Ashley Young)should the culprit be applauded for his evasive action or banned for diving to gain an unfair advantage?

And don't get paranoid because i used Young as an example, it's just that he's the best at it.

 

if his leg moves naturally not a problem. If he sticks his leg out to make contact (if he's leaping over a challenge thats a foul, he's impeded and if he wants to leave his leg dangling fine) on purpose un-naturally like when he ran into some villa player, then thats simulation ban please
