Did we even get a free kick, it was foul, no doubt. He seemed completely unfazed later in the game as well as he helped them to win, no sign he was put off by what was a life threatening incident to another player.
Cahill? Anywhere other than a football pitch, that assault would result in a custodial sentence. "That's football" I hear in rebuttal. A good 50 plus years watching football, reading about football, I don't remember several, yes, not "a" fractured skull, multiple fractures. A cowardly assault intended to hurt.
Just seen a few clips from the debate .. I am always impressed with Liam Rosenior .. speaks really well and comes across as a very intelligent lad. Would love him back here at some stage in a coaching or managerial position.
Totally agree. His Dad was a good manager but never really got a break. Can we have him back as a player for a couple of years first?
