It's no surprise though. They're very good players. If both had stayed fit, they may have been knocking on the England door. Granted its all ifs and buts though
With Livermore now seemingly being a regular in the England team, it's not hard to imagine that had Odubajo not got injured he'd have been close too.
Jack Cork has been selected as has Livermore now regularly. They're no better than Mason. Odubajo more difficult with Walker/Trippier but apart from that there's not to many around
Disagree. Don't think Mason or Dave were anywhere close to being considered. Some people didn't even think Mason should be in our starting 11 nevermind England. Dave was a solid premier league RB for a struggling team, no more no less.
I was meaning if they'd been fit. Odubajo's never played in the PL. Mason was coming into some form just before his injury.
Odubajo was better at times than Robertson for me, if he comes back well from injury I definitely think he could go on to play for a top team.

There seems to be a lot of criticism of the Slutsky not getting the most out of this squad. We don't have a squad, we have a bunch of individuals' that has been put together with no thought whatsoever and no balance. Yes we have some good individuals but that means bugger all. People would say Cardiff don't have a good squad compared to other sides, it means nothing as Warnock has built a squad in his style. Sluts hasn't had that opportunity, he has been given cheap replacements for players and we have paid the price for a number of poor transfer windows. Has sluts done well? No but with this 'squad' I reckon a lot of managers would fail.
