November 22nd last year we'd qualified for the last 16 as group winners having beaten Brugge 2-1. It was met with various congratulatory posts from Arsenal, United, Liverpool and Chelsea fans but Spurs thought otherwise.

Plenty of "you'll only get knocked out in the next round anyway" and "wait until you play someone decent".

I can’t recall ever saying anything that wasn’t in response to provocation similar to what @NowsufferinginSpain said about himself.
I also don’t remember commenting on this seasons draw (feel free to prove me wrong). If asked I’d have said you’d go out but most would have. Fair play to proving everyone wrong. What’s so hard about that?

Whoever plays RM in the ko's will play a totally different side (mentally) than the side Spurs beat. Very good achievement by Spurs but the competition doesn't really start properly until the ko stages....I just hope Liverpool make it!!
