Reading some of the whines and moans on here, you'd think we were miles away from being a Division Two side.

What we have is a group of individuals who are being molded into a team. It's reckoned that any more than about five changes and you'll struggle. So given the numbers we've changed we're not doing bad at all. We're also nurturing youngsters which again, adds the need for patience and support.

What else seems to be missed is that we've played some of the better sides so far. To moan like some are shows a distinct lack of respect to what they achieved. If you got the impression we should have easily beaten any of them, then you must think the side we have is capable of greatness.

Put it all together and one of the bigger players that's letting us down and really worth barracking is the 12th man.

Well i have to admit i really do agree, we went away to Ipswich and Leeds to teams aiming for the play offs and got three points. Played ok against Blackpool who have just come down from the Premier League and actually have some money to go around. Palace i would say are the worst but yet again they are up there. I am not panicking yet, if we are here after 10 games maybe so.

Five games. I refuse to count Tom Lees' stunner as our goal.

Ipswich are in poor form now, but we went to their place on the back of them winning 3-0 at Bristol so their form afterwards is really irrelevant. Having spoken to soem Leeds fans over the last week they said that they played very well against Boro and felt an injustice with the result so had the bit between their teeth when we came to Bellend Road. Palace are probably one of the weaker sides in the division, but have enjoyed a decent start and showed you have to take all sides in this league seriously. After this weekend we have for me a decent September with games away at Peterborough, Bristol and Donny and a home game with Portsmouth. They are 4 games which we can pick up points from without any disrespect to the above teams. They will still be tough games, but if we have expectations of finishing in the upper eaches of the table then we should be taking points from these games. We'll probably know about where our season is heading after those 4 games.
