Well if that's the case then you must be a reader of rocking horse **** mustn't you? I post things as I see them and our next two matches after RM weren't exactly inspiring affairs were they? NOTHING about which to be positive. I have also seen a hell of a lot of negative posts on here about individual players. Negative posts about Son tonight.
It's all about where you finish up. No team plays well every minute of every game. Some north London teams have played fantastically well until March and then the wheels have come off. Consistently getting results and finishing with something to show for it - that's what it's about.
If people don't like what I post then don't damned well read them. Anyway we have the chance to pick up a lot of points in our approaching matches, WBA, Leicester, Watford, Stoke, Brighton.
Agree. We have played Real Madrid x2, Dortmund x2, Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal all quite recently. There's no easy games in football but it can't get much harder than it has been and we are in a great position. Get the injured lads back and win a trophy for the fans.
Can I ask what you think the definition of "supporter" is? I have refrained from posting on here tonight because of your relentless negativity but I can't hold back any more. If people from other teams came on here spouting the stuff you come up with then they'd be branded a WUM and maybe even banned from the board. Because you claim to be a supporter you get away with it, but you are seriously undermining my enjoyment of the match threads. These are the days to enjoy following Spurs, not to get into finding faults everywhere because guess what there is no perfect performance - but that seems to be all you would be satisfied with. And I don't care if I get banned for not being civil because what you are doing as far as I'm concerned is worse than that. You say if people don't like your comments then don't read them, well I'd love to do that. If there's an "ignore" feature here then someone please tell me how to use it. But even still I'd see others reacting to you. I've never come across such negativity, and I watched us get relegated! You're probably one of those on the old 606 that was criticising Bale when he first joined. Criticism is your default position, you either can't help it or get some kind of enjoyment out of it. Even tonight you said you are happy but still can't resist having a few digs. Can the moderators please note what a disruptive influence your posts are? As I said before, this is a good time to be a Spurs supporter, but from your postings you'd hardly know it.
Click on the image beside their name and you should see an ignore option come up...then click on it. Hope that's of use...I like your posts mate so hopefully you'll stick around.
OOPs, sorry didn't see RCL already told you that. Sorry for repetition. Sorry for repetition. Sorry for repetition .
This year is surreal. If you'd made a list of the top seven or so clubs in the world at the end of last year, who on earth would have guessed our record against them this year (including friendlies) would now stand at 5-1-0? Rose, Dele, Sanchez, Winks and Dier stood out.
These are the important matches. 15 points from these and the table will look far better. Losing points against mid-table and bottom teams is what has cost us in the past. Do that and beat Citeh home and away and the race is back on. And for those who complain that Winksy is conservative, yes he doesn't give the ball away vey often. I like that. That's why I wanted him to start against the goons. Both sides gave the ball away a lot on Saturday and if Winksy had played I think the result may have been different. Not every pass can open up a defence, in fact probable less the 2% of passes do. Even Hoddles passes. One has to wait until it is possible to create an opening, recklessly giving the ball away often leads to quick counter-attacks that tend to cost us dearly.
I don’t disagree. I think the point we’re all worried about, is when Kane doesn’t play. And we have to bear in mind that it’s probably likely that the formation you mention won’t be played too frequently.
really positive second half last night and showed great character (to quote Brendan rogers) to bounce back. I thought Dier, winks and Sanchez were excellent again last night. And rose and Aurier were different players in the second half. Rose grew into the game, and Aurier’s width made such a difference. So proud of the team for winning that group. Ok, Dortmund haven’t been the team we thought they would be, but it’s looking like we could finish that group only dropping 2 points. Top stuff. COYS.
My definition of supporter is somebody who tells the truth about his team, simple. Disruptive? Really? I shake my head in disbelief. Ignore if you want I just DO NOT CARE.
I'd just like to say that none of my posts are meant as wums and I've pressed the ignore button on colin, RDBD, Vimhawk and Aledleyswhatsisnamebecausehedoesn'tpostmuch. I don't see how one poster can be disruptive, my remarks are about the team and not posters. It was a good result last night and I'm happy with it because just think had we lost to Dortmund who aren't playing well, where would we have been? I feel more confident now.
It's not a complaint, DD - it's an observation - and it's a strength in its own way. It's just that he will need to continue to grow and develop (as Modders did) to add that extra element to his game. He's doing brilliantly - just that he needs someone alongside currently to add the extra!
