Well thank god we’ve left the EU because now if a vote is tied in a parliamentary election we decide the result by err drawing lots...

And I’m referring to the fact that Norway and Sweden and Swiss and their neighbours are happy with that arrangement - what happens if Northern Ireland and Ireland or Northern Ireland and Great Britain aren’t happy with that arrangement?

 

I'm going by the Irish customs program on tv and they do on that.

 

I get on a train in Belfast and get off in Dublin. No passports.

 

Then they deal with it when they have too,your making imaginary problems.

No I mean between Ireland and the main land and Ireland and Europe.

 

Only interested in Great Britain and Northern Ireland being happy with the arrangement. Ireland are not part of the UK so don't care what they think.

But they are a member of the EU and do have the power of veto over advancing to trade talks

 

Ireland will do as they are told,the country is fooked without trade through the UK.

 

Oh, could have sworn you said "Already check passports on transport between uk and republic".

 

They do indeed, and if the going gets tough they could find themselves with 75% of their export market buying from somewhere else.

 

Eire and Olof told me its all one country,and you play in there rugby team.

 

We all play in our rugby team, you got that bit right.

 

For what it's worth, the only viable solution to the border issue is a one country Ireland, and if you think the feckin' border issue is a poser good luck with making that one happen.

And in case you think I'm being Norn political, I recently got an ROI passport for my young lad rather than a UK one, as it'll keep more doors open for him in future.
