Chesh will appreciate your idea not realising it’s a bit of quality satire that’s so good you must have nicked it from somewhere.

Yes but remember the DUP who prop up this government have made it clear "Northern Ireland will exit the EU on the same terms as the rest of the United Kingdom. We will not countenance a border in the Irish Sea." Arlene Foster. So if it becomes Norther Ireland's problem then bye bye Mrs May, hello new election/government.

You forget the 200 labour MPs who accept the will of the people and voted to invoke artical 50.If we need another election after we are out, then have one.

    PASSPORTS AND VISAS

I’M A BRITISH / IRISH CITIZEN. DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL?

British or Irish citizens travelling on our Irish Sea routes do not need a passport to travel to Britain or Ireland but are advised to take a form of identity. A driving licence, citizenship card or utility bill will usually suffice. A birth certificate will provide adequate proof of identity for your child to travel on our sailings.

So a utility bill is how you think we take back control of our borders?

That election will be before March 2019 and the revokable Article 50 is implemented unless the Irish border is sorted and if Labour do get elected then all the wet dreams of Hard Brexit and No Deal will be off the agenda.

If you do that then you make Northern Ireland citizens have to go through a different procedure to what English citizens have to do when travelling to Wales or Scotland - which again is a line in the sand for the DUP. (they're quite big on symbolism... they're prepared to fight on whether they can march with bowlers hats and orange flags so I'm pretty sure they'll throw Theresa May's government overboard to ensure they have the same rights as everyone else in the Union)
