The original draught before being changed by his editor: '"Fernando Alonso, who failed to beat Lewis Hamilton in his debut season, is set to race in the Le Mans 24 Hours for Toyota next season, BBC Sport has learned.'
The entire series is worth a watch IMHO . I draw the line at the Legends of F1 including Eddie Ervine though . I really rated him , then I found out what kind of person he is .....
Those of you who have Sky... The Inside Line is a rubbish program and patronising. The tone is all wrong, very American and therefore I guess, though I could be wrong, influenced by Liberty. If anyone from Sky reads this, the program is a backward step, a load of B******s. Unintelligent even and therefore insulting.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/41980372 I thought it might have gone for a bit more . shows what I know !
hmm, I couldn't see what you were talking about on the BBC website, but clicked into the Alonso engines link on Autosport and saw an ad for an article about Schumacher's 2001 Monaco winning car being sold for $7m. I'm guessing that is what you were referring to, as it seems quite a reasonable price to me. made me think of a thread.
Strange , it was there when I posted earlier , but as you say not there now . Moved to here , but even that is different ! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/42023727
Not F1 related, but now Dale Earnhardt Jr has retired, I thankfully have bugger all reason to watch a NASCAR race ever again. Cheers Dale and hallebloodylujah!
Looks like Liberty are after the age old logo now. No more, One of these it seems please log in to view this image
Aaaaaaah.... Driven. Quite possibly the greatest and most factually accurate portrayal of the world of motorsport ever committed to film.... Said absolutely nobody ever.
