It would have been late 70’s early 80’s that I first remember them. There’s nowhere quite like Oxford St at Christmas. I remember seeing a Santa having a stand up row with a copper because he’d parked his sleigh and it was causing an obstruction. That was very confusing for a 6 year old to witness
To answer the OP concisely though..... The reason no one in Manchester is talking about a Manchester power shift is because they are not sad ****s, who are obsessed with trying to one-up their neighbours, like apparently a large proportion of Spurs fans are. I should also add though, I really would like to talk about something other than Spurs in the PL forum for once.
Since none of that has happened since Dickensian times, that puts you well over 150 years old, Pix. I suggest something from Oliver, mate. “Food Glorious Food” would be a good one.
... as long as it isn't a popular Spurs song .... you might just have half a chance of knowing the lyrics
Perhaps HIAG can do one of his Right Said Pded numbers? I'm too fragile for a bet Too fragile for a bet Luv's going to change me 'Cause I'm da Hoddle, if you know what I mean And I have my epic tantrums on the forum Yeah, on the forum On the forum, yeah I shake my little wiener on the forum
Good effort but you're post is still transparent and it reeks of anti Spurs bollocks (again) They do talk about it.....6 United fans and 1 City fan on Not606 does not represent the whole of Manchester. My brother is a City fan and they are very much believing in a 'power shift' or whatever other term one might wish to choose. I know plenty United fans who are in clear denial too. You're sat in MK...what the **** do you know Bope? Ahh that's right, what Not606 tells you Plus we have a historic rivalry with Arsenal...leave us to it and in the meantime hope that Fulham get promoted...you might be able to enjoy a Derby too and feel the heat.
6 United fans and 1 City fan do not represent Manchester.... Yet your brother, from London, who has probably never stepped foot in Manchester in his whole life, does? Only dog ****s even use the phrase "power shift" let alone believe in one! If your brother believes in one, its probably because he grew up with a Spurs fan (ie You) filling his heard with their Spursy ***ness.
My brother lives in Huddersfield...goes to plenty games...last one was the one v Arsenal..I'm a stone throw away from Manchester. He never grew up with me, I grew up with him, he's older than me. You're a snob manufactured by Sky Sports and bummed the Sky4 tag for a decade, you think your team is entitled to plaudits yet no other ****er can dare dream of their team reaching any standards that might mean they can be mentioned in the same light as your Sky4. For your sensitivities we won't refer to it as a 'power shift' we don't want you getting all bitchy and protective. However it's there for all to see...the improvements, which team is doing what etc etc. Your club will always be worth a quid mate Suck my Willy
