I know for a fact that the rather nice Miss Stavely reads this forum and if you lot persist in this childish innuendo she will withdraw her offer, put her clothes on and not see me again until you all apologise.

Yes - I'm worried. We've no idea of the true intentions of the bidders. As a foreign based capital fund - their primary motivation is always going to be money. That could be a long term investment based around building the club up, or it could be a short term cash cow. We have no idea. Also - Amanda Staveley is probably just the figurehead - she could be another Chris Mort: likeable, professional, competent and zero influence over the asset stripper who actually owns the club. Admittedly fitter though.
Not sure how we can be asset stripped. We have a squad worth less than £100M. We don't own the ground and that's not worth us being bought for £300M plus!
Definitely not a case of better the devil you know.... Ashley will take us down again, if not this year, maybe next. Better we chance our arm with someone else.

Yep - I know there are clubs with more assets - but they come with higher price tags. Just saying we have no idea whether PCP will invest more into the team than Ashley. Cos they sure as hell wont be sharing their business plan on this forum.
