I love these online language translation programs: Marc is an expert at keeping attackers at bay. He supplies the team with his common sense and pausity. He is very competitive and always helps his team-mates out. Marc is good in aerial games and fair at serving short passes. He strengthens the team's midfield with his sense of order. ......sense of order indeed!!!!
We need a good creative midfielder before a striker for me. I think our strikers will score goals if they get some sort of service
Spot On OLM. Thats the issue and Not his talent. 160k is far to rich for Scunny. But i think City need strikers in for now. Strikers who can finish off the good football being played. I enjoyed Citys performance on saturday - well upto the penalty box that is. Simple - Just No End Product. Thats what NP needs to address. Lowe @ Bury and ALF would be good signings. Not expensive and are scoring for fun at the moment and especially from 8 yards out.
I still think we need 2 decent strikers that can challenge McClean and Fryatt. Adebola is a bench option, and Pearson can't rate Simpson if Simpson can't even make the bench. Attacking midfielder a commanding centre half (I actually think McShane would be a good low cost option at centre half) he's certainly got a mouth, experienced international? He should excel in this division, given a proper run out. Keeper, neither of our keepers inspire much confidence, particularly when you've got young centre halves in front.
Think after Saturday we only had Rosenoir who was providing the strikers with some service. Other than that we had nothing, yeah Brady is brilliant, but on saturday he was doing anything other than shooting straight over the bar, just like our strikers. The shot right of the end of the game by McLean summed it up, wasteful, boring, and couldnt get near the goal. As soon as we get Stewart back i have confidence we will start flying up the league. and with these apparent two platers from BPL we should give it a go. Drop McKenna, bring in the Fernandez, start fresh. Fryatt needs a good partner with him, he's under soo much pressure because he is the only goalscorer in our squad.
Idiot on here will still complain about him. Read the description, he is a defensive midfielder. Which means he will most likely win the ball back and pass it sideways to someone more creative. Guarenteed that people will complain, i'd advise him not to sign here unless he wants to play in front of idiots every week.
150k rising to 400k according to scunny forum, they seemed a bit annoyed they released him, he was scheduled to play a trial game for them and came here at first opportunity.
So I assume Real Madrid offered him a new contract then and he said no, or is he actually still contracted to them?
Someone pointed out a good point earlier though, if hes a defensive midfielder, hes just gonna do the same as what we have already got is he not?
maybe pearson see's that harper isnt good enough, and mckenna wont be able to play every game this season.
Both Simpson and Harper were signed when we were skint, they cost us barely anything, now we've made further additions, they're likely to be on their way. Though I don't think the same can be said of McKenna, who I expect to be a regular.
...only better? I think what has happened is Papa Allam has said we have to keep a tight budget, BUT if players are desperately needed the money will be provided. NP has gone out and bought old, knackered players in the hope he can squeeze one last season out of them, and it just hasn't worked. He now has 10 days to buy and a further month to loan. Wonder who the new striker is and whether he's just sold his house in Nottingham?
