That must be the logical conclusion if what I have read over the past few days are right.

Bruce wont spend on a LW and striker I hear but,

Has Bruce said we need a left winger, yes he has.
Has Bruce talked about strikers, ye he has.
Can Bruce write a cheque for 5-6-10-15 mil, no.

So if Bruce cant spend the money we should be getting rid of the people to blame.

Short and Quinn out, well that may not have a band waggon behind it so lets hit Bruce.

Despite the view that I'm a happy clapper Bruce in supporter, I'm not its just neither am I a Bruce out supporter.

I am a Quinn in fan so prefer to trust him and his judgement.

Wasting your time Syd, the Mogadon Brigade will be out in force again today mate.

Never saw the macth due to being out of the country but from what my son tells me we were by far the better team in the first half and the game turned into a proper derby match in the second.
Looking on the BBC Sport site we had 15 attampts on goal, 5 on target and 10 off, if one or two of them go in it's game over, as it is, Sess must have left his shooting boots in the dressing room. A keeper error gifted them the points.

It hurts like hell to be beaten at home by the scum but you can't start ranting on calling for the manager to be sacked after 2 games, one of which we drew to a very good Liverpool team on their home turf.

I'm sure there will be loads coming on here later that will shoot me down but i won't be around so what the ****?

Keep taking the tablets lads, one day they may work.

Basically he ain't going anywhere yet...

I'm guessing the Liverpool game counted for nothing, though.

SNQ pack your bags, and ES off you pop, your not worthy of the club, cos you got a mag loving geordie as manager.(please don't take this part seriously)

Time for them to move Bruce on you mean? Bruce spent twelve mil on wickham. It would have been better spent on zog

Got to be patient with Wickham, he will come good and I reckon the 2nd half of this season we will see him flourish.

No he didn't, he spent 8.1 mil on Wickham - the remainder will only be spent if he fulfills certain clauses of his contract. Had we Spent that money on N'Zogbia (and the £65k a week) then who would you suggest he plays up front?? I agree we need a left winger but I also think we need a striker as we must have put 8 or 9 crosses in the box at the weekend, the sort of crosses Darren Bent and Kevin Phillips would have had a hat-trick from, but we failed to score any of them.

I personally though Gyan was poor - the time where he shot into a crowd of defenders when he should have laid the ball square with players in acres of space was criminal - could be rusty or something but he was poor. Sessegnon was excellent (other than his finishing). We need that right-place-right-time player.

I am not of the Bruce-Out brigade but I think a massive amount of people will be if we fail to win this weekend. But if this "kick up the backside" works and we end up with 11 games unbeaten like we did last season, I'll be happy.

The frightening thing is, is that the knee-jerk reactions may just drive them out...

We could get someone like Cowie again.

Mack, not your fault you could not be at the game, but generally most of those who were there think the writing is on the wall for SB. I've already posted several times the problems we have are the same as in the previous two seasons. SB seems a decent bloke but SNQ is going to have to bite the bullet at some point.

Well out of the people that I know this statement is way off the mark, and although disappointed with the derby performance are happy to give Bruce more time. However, without hard evidence to back it up, I would never dream of being so presumptuous as to assume that I can say that they represent the majority...

Yet another VERY thinly veiled attack against the SUNDERLAND FANS who don't think Bruce is a very good manager.

Not one of which (to my knowledge) has even hinted at Short or Quinn out.

Syd once again ably supported by the rest of the mods!
(I have to say lads I'm getting a bit miffed at your sniping at myself and other clearly loyal Sunderland fans. For daring to have a differing OPINION. )

This is becoming a joke, are you trying to drive away the fans who disagree with you?
Are supporters who in all honesty believe Bruce is a bad manager not allowed to say so?

Do you think I need to take my kneejerk reacting moronic **** illogical bandwagon jumping know nothing bad and not a proper supporter self elsewhere? But as I'm not part of an actual brigade they may stay.

Maybe the title up top should be "Sunderland Fans Forum (As long as you go along with the herd!)"

    PS.
Syd I didn't agree with your assessment of Gyan the other day, I don't think he was as bad as you made out.
    Opinions eh!
By the same token I didn't make numerous posts trying to have a go at your opinion.
    But whatever floats your boat.

So are you saying that we shouldn't comment because we don't agree with what you are saying? As you have stated on many occasions, 'you are entitled to your opinion'! Well this does work both ways mate, and if I disagree with the Bob's (Bruce Out Brigade), I reserve the right to state my opinion.

My comments weren't aimed at you or anyone else in particular for that matter, i was just shocked to read so many threads calling for the managers head after only 2 games. My comments weren't made in support of Syd either, my comments were made in reaction to some of the doom and gloom merchants that are on here.

Members who were over the moon with SB's signings during the close season have immediately turned on him after one defeat, granted it was against the scum, but it's still only one defeat.
Members who were happy last week when we gave a good account of ourselves against Liverpool. One week later and we get beat and those same members want the manager sacking. Fickle or what?

Whether we like him or not isn't going to have any reflection on what SNQ or ES think of him, but I would rather back the bloke than shout for his head after just one defeat.

Make of that what you will, as mentioned it wasn't aimed at any one person, it was just an opinion.

I'm starting to hope that Short, Quinn and Bruce leave soon and we bring in Ashley as chairman, Karen Brady as CEO, shearer as manager and Milton nunez as our captain to teach us a lesson.

And before someone says the upside is that Brady's fit... Behave she's a dog.

No I'm saying this is another thread started solely to have a go at a certain section of Sunderland fans.

No where have I said anyone hasn't the right to an opinion.

I do think it is bad form to propagate this ongoing bad feeling toward other members. (Which IMHO is likely to drive said supporters away from the forum.)

Please point out the threads started calling Bruce's supporters the likes of moronic idiotic mogadon taking fools.

Id also, again, like to state I am not a fan of Bruce. I do however want him to prove me wrong.
