Just like accepting the fact that I will never get to shag Megan Fox you just have to move on and thats what we have to do however hard it may be.

What would your team for Tuesday be? I think after Saturday it could be a bit stronger that it would have been but it will give our new squad some more game time on the pitch. Barring injuries and not sure if Bardo misses this game or Swansea I would go for,

    -------------------Westwood-------------------

    Bardsley--------O'shea-----Brown------Richardson

    Larrson-----Gardner-----Cattermole-----Sessegnon

    -----------------Gyan-------Ji--------------------

Then depending on the scoreline, drip feed Whickham, Vaughan, Bramble/Turner in.

Whatever the team is I would be looking for a response and Gyan getting on the scoresheet will be good for the lad as I feel he has come in for some harsh and thoughtless criticism from some fans on here.

    Thoughts on team selection?

    KTF Our time will come....

I'm quite sure that Bardsley is suspended for this game, other than that I would be quite happy if that was the starting line up.

I will be very interested to see the team.

I feel that had we won on Saturday we would see a much changed team with Westwood, Gardner, Vaughan, Ji, and maybe Wickham getting starts. You would hope that team is good enough but given Saturdays result Bruce really needs a result here. Failure to get through will see pressure building on him already.

I suspect there may be the odd change but he will largely put his 1st choice team out.

Still maybe his 1st choice team should include some of these players.

I think I would go with

    Westwood

    O'Shea
    Richardson
    Brown
    Ferdinand

    Colback
    Larsson
    Gardner
    Vaughan

    Sessegnon
    Gyan

Brighton are very attacking minded and will no doubt come at us early so Sessegnon will need to get stuck in to more of a midfield role, but as we get a foothold in it we will hopefully start offering something further up the field.

Is Bardsley not banned for the cup game or is there a 7 day thing for 2 yellows??

As for Gyan - I thought he played poorly at the weekend - possibly trying too hard - I rate him but he really wasn't at the races Saturday. Hope it's one of those things and that he is only temporarily lookinglike that as I do think he's a good player (just hope his head hasn't been turned)

Gyan looked short of match fitness on Saturday, so I expect him to play. I've got a feeling that Steve Bruce will make sweeping changes for this match to give players a much needed run out, so I would suggest he will go with the following....

    Westwood

    Elmo.....Turner.....Bramble.....O'Shea

    Larrson.....Catts.....Gardner.....Vaughan

    Ji.....Gyan

Subs: Mig, Brown, Wickham, Colback, Anton, Richo and Sess.

Knowing my luck, I'd pick his car keys out of the pile then.

You should have taken a leaf out of my book and took today off ;) I'm sure that I'll still get both barrels at work tomorrow, but at least I've got another day to get over the disappointment of Saturday.
