The two main rumours doing the rounds just now seem to be Roque Santa Cruz and Wayne Bridge. Bridge is highly unlikely as Celtic are only willing to pay a third of his wages and, to be honest, I don't see Santa Cruz coming. Given that we've just had a scoreless draw at home in Europe (not THAT bad a result) and lost at home to St Johnstone (a VERY BAD result), are these the type of bodies we really need? I still think that we need cover at Centre Half and, although Forster's back and we're unlikely to look in this direction, a keeper. Also, as well as searching for a CF, can we not give Murphy a chance instead of Samaras? We all know what Samaras can do and we all know that, on his bad days, he's worse than an empty jersey and Murphy looked awful last season but he had a couple of decent performances pre-season and is a lot more physical than any of the other strikers we have. What I wouldn't give for a Chris Sutton - a big CF who'll bully defenders and get goals as well as busting a gut for the team. Do you think we'll get extra cover in for the current injuries before the deadline and who do you think Lenny will go for? Something needs to stir the team because, although Paddy and Commons hit the post and we missed a penalty yesterday, it was nowhere near good enough for Celtic and we can't allow the team to think that they're not as good as a few weeks ago simply because a few key players are out.
Bridge doesn't want to come to Scotland. I would imagine the same will go for Cruz too. Can you blame them? Less than a week since the third best team in Scotland got hammered 5-0 at home and both Celtic and Rangers teetering on the edge of plummeting out of the Europa League. Why would they want to come here? The money? They would get paid the same for sitting on their arses doing nothing. One of the main reasons we couldn't get Keane back was because of how ****e most things are. The pitches, the stadia, the quality of the opposition etc. It's time the Board put some decent money on the table. We bought last summer because of the sales of McGeady and Boruc. In the end we spent less than we earned. There is only one automatic qualification spot for the CL next season. Are we (yet again) going to lose out to Rangers and potentially upwards of £12m+ just because the board wont spend 3 or 3 million now? Looks very much like it.

None of them are coming we have all been taken for a ride they have no intention of spending proper money and getting a bit of quality that I will add they are charging us for. If losing 3 in a row won't wake these ****ers up nothing will.
Jesus you are in a worse mood than the other day!! I have to say i agree though. They continually name drop i feel despite no real prospects of getting them, nor no real effort to get them either
