    Hello all,

Its almost like Bet365 can read my mind, I get a nice return on the days racing so they price up the two races that I have fancies in tomorrow. I think they want to recoup their losses! <laugh>

So the two selections for the days racing -

    3.30 Hamilton - Jonny Delta - 7/2 BOG

This horse was one I followed last time out when entering handicap company for the first time and I was gutted that he was touched off by his stablemate in the finish. I thought it was a run full of promise and I also think that he was given a questionable ride by Bartley that day. Bartley gave him plenty of time to pick up from off the pace and wasn't able to quicken to the front inside the distance, and now they are dropping him back in trip which I would normally suggest is going to be a negative.

However, I think with a more positive ride over this shorter trip we will see Jonny Delta win his first handicap for the Goldie yard.

    7.50 - Abergeldie - 12/1 EW

This handicap looks very competitive and I think this race could be ideal for Abergeldie of the Andrew Balding yard. This Street Cry filly is coming into this race off bottom weight thanks to the 8lbs weight for age allowance and I think she is one to be with here.

This is a step up in trip for the filly but on her last couple of efforts I think this trip will only enhance her chances, she stayed on nicely on both occasions and even though she hung right last time out she could be said to be unfortunate as she had to challenge widest of all and ran from outside the handicap.

Andrew Balding's yard are in fine form and the filly has been given a small break before this race, both of which are major positives for me and I expect a very good performance from her here. I also think she is overpriced at 12/1.

    Good luck one and all!

good shout today nassau. You seem to be on a bit of a roll so it seems foolish to take you on in the 7.50 at windsor but I like the look of the cayterers in that race. raul da silva is a very handy 7 lbs claim and I think the cayterers will win with him on board. chucked in on older form.

The Cayterers 7.50 Windsor 12/1 nap

I will now put the mockers on Henry Cecil's newcomer in the 2yo maiden at Windsor this evening. This is a beautifully bred filly by Oasis Dream out of a decent Daylami mare called La Persiana, who won a handful of races as a 3yo and 4yo. What makes her well-bred is that La Persiana is a half-sister to Grand Lodge and a grand-daughter of that fine filly Magic Flute. (this years yearling is a Dansili colt called Persepolis).

La Persiana's only other foal to run is Qushci who won as a 2yo on her second start and followed up with a win over 12f this July. It is interesting that Cecil is training this filly as he has not trained for the de Walden family for more than 5 years. I see this as a sign that they rate this one and want her to have the best of chances. Only strange thing is why send her to Windsor? But never mind the racing calendar is a problem for trainers these days and I'm expecting Perchance (GB) to give a good account of herself.

Nass: A few questions/notes for you from Friday!

What did you make of Top Diktat, looked like he was going to be tailed off and then almost won! Without doubt needs a good amount of cut to produce best but that was a nice run against his olders, deffo one to keep an eye out for mate <ok>

Did you see The Noble Ord, given a great ride and well worth missing a few pints for <cool>

Attractions full/half sister ran recently and won doing handstands, she was pulled out of the listed race at Sandown this week-end but is one to follow and should improve, FEDERATION.

Finally we discussed that maiden at Sandown where Sir Michael had 4 entered, well what a race from the winner NEWNTON LODGE, that could be a very nice horse indeed. What a season both the Prince and Mr Charlton are having <cool> <cheers>

PS: How honest and open was Brian Ellison on the Morning Line! He almost said Moyenne Corniche was his favoured option given the ground! Great waiting ride from young Dale Swift too

    Gaz,

At work at the minute so can't really look at too many of those points, however I will get back to you on them tonight.

The point about Top Diktat is a good one, he looked out of it at one point but he looks a proper stayer on soft ground, and he also looks to be on a fair mark. He is the sort of Autumn horse you want to keep on your side.

I move markets gem, I move markets.
seriously though my £25 each way is probably not responsible for that move.

the horse is very well handicapped atm, has a great record at windsor and the yard have only used this claimer once and he won on that. 12's was massive, 7's about right, 11/2 is getting a touch short.

    Hello lads.

Glad I had the foresight to take today off after a lost weekend.Time to start recouping the cost of overindulgence.

Pretty uninspiring stuff today, but working on the hackneyed maxim that every race has a winner, except the 1993 Grand National,I have decided to have a decent bet on Cocozza in the 6.10 at Cork.

This one looked a real good juvenile when thrashing a subsequent G3 winner in his maiden victory.

His seasonal bow was in a decent race where he received an awful ride from JM,something that is happening frequently atm.

LTO he ran in the G2 Royal Whip stakes at the Curragh and was a little disappointing tbh. There is always the chance he may not have trained on,but connections are still keen on him and at 11/10 he could prove a class apart from this lot.

    GL all who venture forth.

Just the 2 for me today (well tonight really!), wins and an EW double:

720 Win: Race to Dubai looks very nicely bred and the yard continue with the winners.

750 Win: This race looks very competitive indeed but despite the flood of money for Tony carroll's The Cayterers (they rarely leave the money behind!) i like the loook of Colincas Lad who at 9 just keeps improving! Races unpenalised for winning another apprentice race over CD with the jockey getting on very well indeed with this horse. Will try to make all and get the rest of the bridle early <cool>

A few notes on those I put up earlier :) - good luck all

    4.15 Kempton ZENAAT (11/4 BOG)

Although it is not too far from Kempton to Windsor it is still interesting that Fallon comes here for just the one ride in the 4.15 before heading to Windsor for a 5.50 start. He takes the ride on ZENAAT here and Sir Michael Stoute’s filly looks the part on paper being by Galileo and out of a Grade 1 winner in America (Janet). This 400,000 guineas purchase should be ready to go and the market seems to back this up as she currently looks strong as the 11/4 2nd favorite. There are plenty of other interesting types in the race including the Godolphin newcomer and current fav Anjaz, Saaed Bin Suroor has a good strike rate at this track (37%) this one comes from a top family and is a half-sister to the formerly Sir Michael Stoute trained Giants Play (Grade 2 winner in America) She has been well backed this morning and should run a big race. Panettone and Albamara are others considered in what could turn out to be a very good maiden

    5.20 Windsor LADYSHIP (11/10 BOG)

A nice maiden to start the card at Windsor this evening but something will have to be well above average to beat LADYSHIP . She looked slightly unlucky not to be closer on debut when running third of 13 in a good Newmarket maiden last month. The winner that day was Desert Gazelle who ran well enough when upped to Group class on only her second start. Ladyship is a smashing type on paper being by Oasis Dream out of a multiple Group 1 winner Peeress and it was clear to see by her debut run that she has plenty of ability herself. She has the best form out of those that have been on the track before and should put her experience to good use this evening. Perchance is in the right hands but the market suggests she might not be ready today. She should do much better once upped in distance. Cockney Dancer looks the main danger on paper and the market suggests she will run a big race on debut, I doubt she will be good enough to topple the favourite here though.

7.20 Windsor THE *****OSE (7/2 BOG)

Again another very good maiden well worth a watch. I don’t feel that the selection is a certain thing or anything here but I do feel he is the value in the race at the prices. THE *****OSE has shown obvious signs of ability in two career starts so far and makes his first start as a 3yo this evening. He performed with credit in two decent 7f maidens last season and now stepped up to 1m2f he should show his true potential, this one time derby entrant is entitled to need the run after almost a year off the track but I am still hopeful that Sir Michael Stoute will have him ready to perform this evening. Almagest has a massive chance here but is not for me at the prices. John Gosden’s colt looked to have a big future after running a blinder on debut but failed to build on that last time out, however he remains capable of better and it would be no surprise to see him shed the maiden tag tonight. Durante Alighieri is another with leading form claims and could perhaps be overpriced at 7/1 having run the useful Club Oceanic close at Lingfield back in November. From the newcomers Race To Dubai looks the pick.

Hopefully this will cause Galiando to drift a bit making that one the value bet. Can't see this one being beaten, but then I'm pretty useless at this game.
