Yes mate. Its good in principal, but do you really want your kids being shot at, shooting at people, bombs, dead bodies?
They are the people who it won't help IMO. Do anything other than go on the dole, work for a living at anything.
Had some Gym idiot in work who I heard was doing a course in London and then off you go, this was about a year ago. No experience at all, I could believe such a course existed! I pulled him aside as he has a young family and told him it's not the holiday with big cash you've been promised. Glad to say he didn't go, I did tell him he'd be dead within 6 months though.
Didn't think they liked each other. Don't mind a bit of masterchef, but don't watch it because of the pair of ****s who host it.
Reminds me of a conversation I had a few years ago. We went on a day out with another family. My wife was good pals with the other mum. I didn’t really know the dad that well but they always came across as the perfect family. Me and him went off to get coffees and he randomly said “don’t you think kids bring you the greatest joy and the greatest unhappiness at the same time?”. I thought it was a really odd thing to say to a virtual stranger. Two weeks later he left his wife and moved to the US.
I wouldn't change my life to go back to having no kids. I love my daughter like I never knew you could. Yes I used to have more time before she arrived, but I mostly spent it getting wasted or driving around all day looking for the perfect surf spot. These days I take my moments for myself with great appreciation and dedicate the rest of my time for my family.
