Reasons why Derby County sacked Clement:

'The lack of leadership, the size of the squad and growing fears that Clement did not know his best side led to increasing criticism from supporters'

Does this seem familiar ?????????

Just like with Monk. They'll give Leon a month or so as caretaker manager, and if he does OK they'll keep him on. Cheap way to do it, but what would we expect.

I think given the circumstances of this season, I doubt they would throw Leon this one, it would ruin him, and besides it's far too soon for Leon, not sure if he's even management material sorry to say, just my humble opinion..............<ok>

PS: Leon being placed in the dugout as Clements No2 is nothing more than a political cynical game by jinx to squeeze the manager, hoping he will resign, for saving money of course, RE: Sousa/Laudrup.

After Bournemouth home game next week, we play:

Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Spurs which will take us pretty much to the January window, get ready for the cricket scores that will come our way, and if clueless Clement is still with us, we will be well cut adrift at the bottom, making January recruitment pretty pointless exercise. If I was a betting man Clement has to go between now and the Bournemouth game if we are to have any chance to rescue this season.............<ok>

Brave but right option
Sousa.
or the cheap option
Graham Potter and Billy Read from Östersunds FK.
They owe us a favour or two and this pair have an impressive record of turning straw into gold.
Cheaper option
Britton, Rangel & Curtis
Probable option
Stick with Clement.

Why bother as long as the current Director of Football and wanna be manager still stinks the Club out why waste more money on compo, we had a good manager who was undermined by the board and ****ing no mark players and since then it's been a disaster waiting to happen .Well now the iceberg is full view and no amount of tweaking by the slimeycnut is going to help the club now

I see no points out of any of our games. I’m frightened for us against City, I can see them slaughtering up 6, 7, 8 nil, that could be very embarrassing.

If he gets sacked today, I'd take Pulis in a heartbeat. This lot will be suited to his style of play because they are crap at playing 'our style' of football.

Then again, maybe we should get Giggs before he gets the Welsh job <whistle>
