Never thought I’d say this but same for Allardyce. At least either would play to our strengths & I do believe get the best from our players.
Pellegrino is hopelessly out of his depth, but is that a surprise? We signed a manager whose claim to fame was a season of playing 11 men behind the ball for Alaves, declared him the saviour of our turgid attack, and gave him no attacking signings.
I do understand the point you're making, just think that if the decision has been made (and we do not know yet that it has) then there's no point dragging it out and it won't benefit anyone. We could always stick Black in charge...
It's a weird one, that one. Pulis looks nailed on to be the next PL manager to get sacked - and completely fair enough, he somewhat deserves it. I'd suggest MP is then the second favourite, but Pulis has to be out at number one by some distance. And yet, fast forward three or four months, and it could well be the case that having Pulis in charge is the one thing WBA want more than anything else.
I'm sure plenty of us said this when we appointed him too... his claim to fame was getting an unfashionable club to the top half and a cup final.
